This is a long-term Hybrid role in Tualatin office, 3 days a week work from office.


The Supply Chain Business Manager (SBM) is an individual contributor responsible for managing strategic suppliers within the RF commodity and ensuring uninterrupted supply to support manufacturing and customer commitments. The SBM serves as the primary operational interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, driving supplier performance, material availability, supply continuity, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.


This role requires strong expertise in supplier management, materials planning, procurement, manufacturing operations, and supply chain execution. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation, process transformation, and stabilization efforts across Supply Chain and Procurement functions.


The SBM will collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality, and IT teams to ensure successful supplier execution while supporting end-to-end business process integration within SAP S/4HANA.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or business; MBA or post graduate degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or production environment, preferably in Semiconductor/manufacturing environment
  • Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Has extensive experience interfacing with customers and suppliers and managing these relationships, knowledge of supply chain management business processes.
  • Experience with Program Management, exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills, Solid analytical and written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization.


Responsibilities:

Material Planning & Procurement

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through the production cycle to determine procurement requirements.
  • Analyze supply versus demand requirements and proactively mitigate potential shortages.
  • Establish supplier commitments and delivery plans aligned with forecasted demand and business priorities.
  • Drive supplier responsiveness to changes in forecast, demand spikes, and recovery plans.
  • Monitor and manage open purchase orders, shipment schedules, and inventory levels.


Supplier Performance & Risk Management

  • Serve as the primary business owner for assigned RF commodity suppliers.
  • Develop supplier scorecards and define performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor supplier performance across:
  • On-Time Delivery (OTD), Lead-Time Performance, Quality Metrics
  • Capacity Utilization, Inventory Commitments, Responsiveness to Escalations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks related to capacity, quality, single-source dependencies, sub-tier suppliers, and geopolitical factors.
  • Lead supplier recovery plans and escalation management when commitments are at risk.


SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Business Transformation

  • Act as a Supply Chain SME supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation and stabilization activities.
  • Support business process design, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
  • Participate in:
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Integrated Business Process Testing
  • Data Validation and Cleansing, Master Data Governance
  • Go-Live Readiness, Hypercare Support
  • Collaborate with IT and Global Process Owners to optimize supplier-related processes within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Support deployment and continuous improvement of:
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Contract (S2C), Inventory Management
  • Supplier Collaboration, Material Planning, Supply Planning Processes
  • Develop reporting and dashboards leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics, and Power BI.


Process Improvement & Best Practices

  • Lead initiatives to deploy best-known methods in:
  • Procurement, Inventory Management, Supplier Collaboration
  • Supply Planning, Manufacturing Support
  • Implement and drive inventory control methodologies, including:
  • Just-In-Time (JIT), Kanban, Min/Max Planning, Safety Stock Optimization
  • Develop presentations, white papers, value stream maps, and process flow documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and waste reduction.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve supply constraints.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex supply chain and manufacturing issues.
  • Communicate critical supplier issues, recovery plans, and business impacts to leadership.
  • Lead recurring supplier operational reviews and executive escalation meetings as required.


Cost Management & PPV Control

  • Monitor supplier pricing and cost trends to minimize unfavorable Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives through supplier collaboration and process improvements.
  • Partner with Sourcing teams on supplier negotiations and productivity programs.
  • Drive inventory and supply-chain operational efficiencies to improve working capital performance.


Supplier Development & Manufacturing Excellence

  • Evaluate supplier manufacturing capabilities and operational readiness.
  • Drive supplier process improvements focused on:
  • Manufacturing throughput
  • Capacity management
  • Yield improvement
  • Cycle time reduction
  • On-time delivery performance
  • Support supplier business continuity and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Promote best practices throughout the supplier ecosystem.


Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA experience in: Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Inventory Management, Procurement
  • Experience with: SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau and Advanced Excel
  • APICS/ASCM Certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • PMP Certification preferred
