This is a long-term Hybrid role in Tualatin office, 3 days a week work from office.
The Supply Chain Business Manager (SBM) is an individual contributor responsible for managing strategic suppliers within the RF commodity and ensuring uninterrupted supply to support manufacturing and customer commitments. The SBM serves as the primary operational interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, driving supplier performance, material availability, supply continuity, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.
This role requires strong expertise in supplier management, materials planning, procurement, manufacturing operations, and supply chain execution. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation, process transformation, and stabilization efforts across Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
The SBM will collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality, and IT teams to ensure successful supplier execution while supporting end-to-end business process integration within SAP S/4HANA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or business; MBA or post graduate degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
Minimum 8 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or production environment, preferably in Semiconductor/manufacturing environment
Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities
Has extensive experience interfacing with customers and suppliers and managing these relationships, knowledge of supply chain management business processes.
Experience with Program Management, exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills, Solid analytical and written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Material Planning & Procurement
Plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through the production cycle to determine procurement requirements.
Analyze supply versus demand requirements and proactively mitigate potential shortages.
Establish supplier commitments and delivery plans aligned with forecasted demand and business priorities.
Drive supplier responsiveness to changes in forecast, demand spikes, and recovery plans.
Monitor and manage open purchase orders, shipment schedules, and inventory levels.
Supplier Performance & Risk Management
Serve as the primary business owner for assigned RF commodity suppliers.
Develop supplier scorecards and define performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
