Vice President, Finance - Global Supply Chain & Operations

Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Vice President, Finance – Global Supply Chain & Operations on behalf of a leading publicly traded manufacturer with a global footprint and market-leading position within its industry.

Operating across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, the company designs, manufactures, and distributes their products through an extensive global manufacturing and distribution network. As the organization continues to invest in operational excellence, digital transformation, automation, and strategic growth initiatives, leadership is seeking a highly influential finance executive to partner directly with global operations leadership and help shape the future of the enterprise.

Reporting to the CFO with a dotted line to the COO, the Vice President will serve as the senior finance leader supporting the company's global supply chain and operations organization. This role carries significant visibility and influence across the business, partnering closely with executive leadership on manufacturing strategy, capital allocation, operational performance, technology transformation, and long-term value creation initiatives.

Key Areas of Impact:

• Serve as the primary finance partner to global operations and supply chain leadership, providing strategic financial guidance across manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, inventory, and operational performance
• Lead financial oversight of a global manufacturing and distribution network spanning multiple regions, facilities, and commercial organizations
• Play a critical leadership role in a multi-year enterprise ERP transformation, helping guide operational readiness, change management, financial process design, and implementation success
• Partner with executive leadership on manufacturing footprint optimization, network rationalization, and long-term capacity planning initiatives
• Drive financial evaluation and governance of significant capital investments, automation programs, productivity initiatives, and operational transformation efforts
• Lead efforts to improve gross margin performance, cost competitiveness, working capital efficiency, inventory management, and operational decision support
• Support product portfolio simplification and operational complexity reduction initiatives designed to improve scalability and profitability
• Partner with business leaders on M&A evaluations, operational due diligence, integration planning, and value creation opportunities
• Lead and develop a global team of finance leaders, controllers, business partners, and operational finance professionals supporting manufacturing and supply chain activities worldwide

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within complex OEM manufacturing, industrial, or operations-intensive environments
• Demonstrated success supporting global manufacturing, supply chain, or operations organizations as a senior finance leader
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, capital investment analysis, and operational performance drivers
• Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, process redesign, organizational change, and operational improvement programs
• Global leadership experience across multiple regions and cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders throughout a matrixed organization
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing footprint optimization, automation initiatives, supply chain transformation, or operational excellence programs
• Exposure to M&A diligence, integration, and strategic growth initiatives preferred
• Executive presence and communication skills necessary to influence senior leadership, operations executives, and Board-level stakeholders
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, highly visible environment
