- [Instructor] Both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects utilize motion graphics template files, but there are key differences in how they handle and create these templates. In Premiere Pro, MOGRT files are used to apply pre-designed motion graphics to video project. These could be lower thirds title sequences or any animated graphics. While you can use and modify MOGRT files in Premiere Pro, the extent of customization is typically limited to parameters set by the MOGRT creator. This could include text changes, color adjustments, and sometimes basic animation controls. One major limitation is that Premiere Pro doesn't enforce design rules, which can lead to inconsistencies with company visual guidelines. After Effects on the other hand is where the majority of MOGRT files are created. Users can design Interate animations and graphics and then export them as MOGRT files for use in Adobe Premiere.
