Kevin is a #battery scientist and engineer who specializes in fast charge battery technology. With 15 years of experience in the battery field, he has been published in over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, cited more than 800 times, and granted several US patents. After receiving his PhD in Chemistry from The George Washington University University, he transitioned to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory to work in the Battery Manufacturing Facility. At Ionblox, he has also led a team tasked with designing and scaling an advanced silicon-based lithium-ion battery for a well known electric aviation company. Aside from the battery field, Kevin is an avid cyclist and passionate about bringing alternative electric mobility to the masses.
