Your code works. Until the domain changes. And suddenly… everything leaks. That moment, when a small business change ripples through half your codebase, is usually not a tooling problem. It’s a 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦. On 12–13 February, we’re hosting 𝐚 𝐭𝐰𝐨-𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 where we deliberately zoom in on that pain point: 👉 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧, with domain isolation at the core. Not theory. Not “FP for FP’s sake.” But 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 that help you see where your design bends or breaks. Over two intensive days, you’ll work with 𝐊𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧, 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭, 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 and 𝐌𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 to: ✔️ Break your domain logic into 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 ✔️ Surface design flaws 𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✔️ Separate domain decisions from data and infrastructure concerns ✔️ Use functional patterns as a 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐬, not a dogma 👥 Who should join?
