Walmart is already testing drone delivery - full launch planned for 2027. This is what Walmart's drone delivery system looks like in action. The drones can carry 2-3 kg per trip. During delivery, they carefully lower the package on a cable, without landing. They can operate within a 10 km radius of the hub.

Why isnt this Chinese flying saucer all over the news? I am in China's Silicon Bay: this is an actual, functional drone. And it's on the market, today. Hello, Jetsons! I recently visited the Shenzen drone show and this was one of six unique transportation drone companies I'll cover in greater depth in video. The drone is called iUFO. This particular drone has six propellers, a crystal dome and carbon fibre body that carries one person with an estimated payload of about 100 kg: a two seater is also also in production. So no - it's not a prototype! This actually flies. The Future of Travel is already here: China's 15th 5 year plan has prioritized the "low altitude economy," producing thousands of companies with #drones like this. They are exciting small companies that may not make it to CES but are worth watching. Some 90 cities across the country are preparing landing spaces for commercial vehicles - or "Vertiports" that could be on the top of a building in any Tier 1 or 2 city where flying taxis, some autonomous, are already taking off.
