Thirteen years. Nearly 6,000 students. New communities, new partners, new programs we couldn't have imagined when this partnership began. That's what long-term commitment makes possible and it's exactly what Nordson Corporation Foundation has meant to TECH CORPS. This partnership has given us something rare: the stability to innovate, the trust to take risks, and the runway to reach communities we couldn't reach alone. Looking forward to what's ahead with Maria L. Spangler, JD/MPA and the entire #Nordson team Ishmael (Ish) Cooper Eric McKinley Chelsey Young. #TECHCORPS #CareerConnectedLearning #STEMeducation

"𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒏𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚'𝒔 𝑨𝑰 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉 𝒋𝒐𝒃 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕?" That was one of the questions I was asked during my sharing at Tech Career Connect, organised by NTUC's Infocomm & Media Cluster. I reflected on one of the most important lessons I’ve learned: Leverage platforms, and build a network of mentors and peers. The AI and tech landscape is evolving faster than ever. New tools are emerging, roles are changing, and the way we work will continue to transform. None of us can predict exactly what the next few years will look like, hence even more important to be part of communities that keep you connected to what's happening. By platform, I don't just mean LinkedIn but professional communities like Tech Talent AssemBly (TTAB), trade associations, learning networks, events and mentorship circles where you can learn from people who are building the future. These are the places where you'll hear what businesses are struggling with, what skills are becoming more valuable, what technologies are gaining traction, and where new opportunities are emerging. A tip for you, should you find yourself at this crossroads: don't try to navigate it alone. Surround yourself with people who challenge your thinking, share their experiences, and help you stay ahead of change. Thank you to National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)'s Infocomm & Media Cluster for the invitation, and to everyone who joined the session. I enjoyed the conversations and thoughtful questions. While technology continues to evolve, learning together and learning from one another will always be one of the best ways to prepare for what's next. Thanks fellow panelists for a good discussion! We're proud to be partnering with Connectr Early Engagement and fellow employers through the #DiscoverTech programme, an industry-wide initiative created by Cisco to help prepare the next generation for success in technology. Over the next four years, Discover Tech will engage 7000 young people across four major UK cities, helping to improve diversity within the sector, close the digital skills gap and inspire future tech talent. This July, we'll be meeting 300 Year 12 and 13 students from across London to share what a career in tech can look like. We'll also be hosting 50 students in our London centre for a day of networking and insights from our teams. 🤝 We're excited to play our part in opening up opportunities and helping more young people explore careers in tech. It's exactly the kind of initiative that reflects what we stand for as an organisation. #WeAreFDM #FutureTalent Kate Hawthorn (Croucher)

The US Administration, including the DOW and the National Labor Exchange (NLx), is driving the adoption of skills-based job-role architecture and hiring practices. The event below is a great opportunity to hear Frank Cicio and others from NLx and more, and learn about this adoption and how iQ4 is leading the development of an open and interoperable Talent Supply Chain and Talent Marketplace infrastructure that can deliver the vision/mission - and make it easy for you to adopt the infrastructure. https://lnkd.in/eXYjHKCS
🚀 We're headed to NLx Research Hub: Connect 2026! Next week, the iQ4 team will be joining workforce, education, and technology leaders at NLx Research Hub: Connect 2026 to explore the future of skills-based education and employment. Next week is a big one. 🚀 I am beyond excited to see Discover Tech officially kick off! When we started this journey as the founding partner alongside the brilliant team at Connectr Early Engagement, we had a vision: to open doors that have stayed closed for far too long. To show young people that a career in technology isn't just "for someone else", it’s for them. Next week, that vision becomes a reality in the most energetic way possible. ⚡️ We’ll have students joining us across both London and Manchester, stepping into the world of tech - many for the very first time. There is something truly special about the energy in the room when a student realizes that their perspective, their background, and their ideas are exactly what this industry needs to thrive. Over the next few weeks, nearly 700 students will walk through the doors of a tech company. They’ll see the inner workings of our industry, meet the people behind the screens, and (I hope) leave feeling completely inspired for what’s next. 🌟 This isn't something we could do alone. It takes a movement. I am so incredibly proud of the ecosystem of partners who have stepped up to support this mission and welcome these students into their spaces. A massive thank you to our partners and supporters who’ve joined along the way: Accenture | Adobe | IBM | World Wide Technology | CDW UK | FDM Group | Kao Data | Softcat | BBC | Network Rail | NTT DATA | Siemens | HighPoint And of course, a huge shout out to Kathryn Baddeley and the entire team for helping us build something so impactful. 🙌 We’re not just offering work experience; we’re building a bridge to the future. I can’t wait to see these students shine. Let’s go! 💻✨ #DiscoverTech #CiscoUKI #FutureTalent #SocialMobility #TechCareers #Innovation

Turning ideas into reality starts with understanding how they work. For Umair Parwez , working as a Research Associate at Globals Inc. means taking ownership of a project from concept to completion, bridging theory and implementation through research, validation, and continuous improvement. Just as important are the people behind the work. A team that's quick to share knowledge, willing to help, and always encouraging you to keep learning. And of course, the occasional coffee break that helps reset and recharge. In this edition of Life at Globals, Umair shares what it's like to learn, build, and grow through hands-on research and problem-solving. #LifeAtGlobals #ResearchAssociate #ResearchCareers #DeepTech #TeamGlobals
