Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano’s Post

Safeway is celebrating its 100th anniversary of serving Northern California communities. To mark this milestone, the Safeway Foundation is making donations to four of Northern California’s oldest hunger relief organizations – and the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano is one of them! Last Friday, Safeway presented us with a $25,000 gift, which will provide food for 50,000 meals. With nearly three dozen locations across Contra Costa and Solano Counties, Safeway plays an important role in our communities.
