Some very dedicated people were out very early (certainly for me) this morning, in a bid to raise £100k by pushing a bed 100 miles across Lancashire! Starting at Pendleside Hospice in Burnley and finishing (for today) in Blackburn. The first stretch was downhill into Burnley but then there was a very long climb up to 1000 ft. The image below is about a mile from the first hill summit. The fundraising project for Trinity Hospice, Blackpool was organised & actioned by Sean Lynden and his team from Blackpool Industrial Roofing LTD.
