Paul-Adrien Hyppolite’s Post

Founders keep asking me the same thing: what should we do with the cash our customers hold? Can we offer them yield? Until now, my honest answer was: it's hard. You'd need a MiFID license, fund partnerships, and years of compliance build-out. Today the answer changes. 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐤𝐨 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 is live. Our conviction is simple: yield shouldn't only be accessible in a separate app. It should be available wherever idle cash sits and wherever people already make their financial decisions. With Spiko Embedded, any platform can offer our regulated cash products natively: 💰 Top-of-market yield 📱 Your app, your brand, your UX 🏛️ Backed by our license, fund operations and infrastructure ⚡ Live in weeks, not years Demand is already proven: over €500m of our AUM – a quarter of the total – already comes through distribution partners. Embedded makes that available to everyone, through a single integration. I'm especially excited about who's leading it: we brought Xenia Boulamatsis onboard to head our embedded product. At Trade Republic, she built the savings and cash business, launching leading yield offer and bringing it to over 10 million users across Europe. She knows better than almost anyone what happens when you put great cash products where people already are. That's exactly what we're building together at Spiko. Welcome, Xenia! We're lucky to have you. And if your customers hold idle cash on your platform, let's talk!

Congrats🥳 Spiko Embedded looks like a massive play for RWA yield distribution in Europe. From what we’re seeing building MiCA-first projects, the main bottleneck for B2B platforms is usually just tech capacity. Most product teams don't have the smart contract expertise to safely connect an API like yours with their ledger or traditional banking rails. Are you guys keeping integrations entirely in-house, or planning to work with tech partners to help clients deploy faster?

Congrats on the launch. One thing worth naming for the “let’s talk” line at the end.....if any of those distribution partners are US platforms, the MiFID license doesn’t travel. In our data, that’s the single most common mistake EU fintechs make expanding to the US is assuming a regulated product in Europe just needs a new integration in the US, when it actually needs a different regulatory identity entirely (broker-dealer registration, money transmitter licensing state by state, or a bank partnership). "Live in weeks, not years” is true for EU distribution. It resets to years the moment a US platform is on the other end of that integration.

Yield is becoming a feature, not a destination. The platforms that keep idle cash productive without adding friction will have a strong competitive advantage.

This is the kind of infra unlock that reshapes B2B fintech positioning fast вАФ offering yield stops being a feature and becomes table stakes for any embedded finance play.
