Get this number wrong and it's not just a typo. It's a compliance problem, an LP call, and an audit finding, all at once. Meet the one person in a fund who has to answer to literally everyone… his name is NAV. He's diplomatic, precise, and permanently in the middle: keeping LPs happy, auditors satisfied, and portfolio companies represented fairly, all with the same single number. NAV stands for Net Asset Value: the reported worth of everything the fund holds, company by company. But NAV can't just appear. Every underlying investment needs a defensible value, and SEBI doesn't leave it to chance. Category I and II AIFs must get their portfolios valued by an independent valuer at least once every six months (extendable to once a year). There's no version of this where NAV gets to skip the homework. Even in a quiet quarter, someone has to do the work, on time, every time. If your portco's valuation is raising more questions than it's answering, happy to talk. 𝐒𝐄𝐁𝐈 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 | 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐂𝐅 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬 SEBI had earlier provided a one-time additional liquidation period until 19 July 2025 for migrated VCF schemes whose liquidation period had expired but which had not been wound up. Subsequently, considering industry representations, SEBI extended this relief by another year, up to 19 July 2026. ⚠️ 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝟭𝟵 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, fund managers should expedite the liquidation and winding-up process for pending schemes. Schemes continuing beyond their original liquidation period have already received regulatory relief, and the extended timeline is intended to facilitate an orderly closure of legacy VCF structures. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐂𝐅𝐬: ✅ Review the status of pending exits and asset realizations. ✅ Complete investor distributions wherever possible. ✅ Finalize winding-up actions and related documentation. ✅ Ensure compliance requirements are addressed well before the 19 July 2026 deadline. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲: The focus is no longer on migration eligibility and it is now on timely scheme closure. VCFs that have not yet completed the liquidation process should use the remaining period to achieve full compliance and avoid last-minute regulatory challenges. 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐬 31 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 4 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. Most professionals look at a compliance calendar and see dates. We 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬. Every July, wealth managers, investment advisers, mutual fund distributors, PMS managers, AIFs and financial intermediaries face one of the busiest compliance months of the year. Tax deadlines, SEBI reporting, RBI-FEMA obligations, PMLA requirements and internal governance all converge within a few weeks. Missing a deadline is rarely because professionals don't know the law. It happens because multiple regulators expect action at the same time. That's exactly why we believe compliance should be planned, not remembered. To make this easier, we've prepared the 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 2026 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫, bringing together important obligations under: ✔ 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱 & 𝐓𝐃𝐒 ✔ 𝐒𝐄𝐁𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 ✔ 𝐀𝐌𝐅𝐈 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 ✔ 𝐑𝐁𝐈 & 𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 ✔ 𝐏𝐌𝐋𝐀 & 𝐊𝐘𝐂 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 ✔ 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 & 𝐏𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 ✔ 𝐀𝐈𝐅 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 ✔ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 But beyond deadlines, the objective is much bigger. A strong compliance framework protects investors, strengthens governance and builds credibility that lasts much longer than any filing date. The firms that perform consistently aren't the ones working the hardest on 31st July. They're the ones who started preparing in the last week of June. we hope this calendar by BVENT FINANCIAL SERVICES helps professionals plan ahead, reduce compliance stress and focus on what truly matters creating value for clients. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲? we would 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞. #Compliance #WealthManagement #InvestmentAdvisory #SEBI #IncomeTax #PMLA #FEMA #RBI #AIF #PortfolioManagement #FinancialPlanning #CorporateGovernance #CAArpit #BVENTFinancial

Business valuation is the process of estimating a company's intrinsic or fair market value. The main approaches are: • Income Approach (DCF, DDM) • Market Approach (Comparable Companies, M&A Transactions) • Asset Approach (Net Asset Value) Each method suits different businesses and purposes. No single method is perfect—analysts often combine multiple approaches to reach a balanced valuation. Understanding valuation is an essential skill for finance professionals, investors, equity research analysts, and anyone interested in capital markets. #Finance #BusinessValuation #DCF #EquityResearch #InvestmentAnalysis #CorporateFinance #hdfcamc, #paragparikhamc, #quantamc, #jioblackrockamc.

Trust in wealth management comes from clear roles. RIAs advise. Custodians safeguard assets. Clearing firms settle transactions. Clients receive statements directly. A simple structure, but one that many investors don't fully understand. How often do you find yourself explaining this to new clients? #RIA
