Hot off the press: Reuse made the news! And we couldn't be more proud. This past weekend, Reuse Seattle and Bold Reuse partnered with West Seattle Junction to make reusable dishware the standard for ALL food vendors at West Seattle Summer Fest. Within this partnership, West Seattle Junction has piloted reuse at events and demonstrated that reuse at scale is possible over the past three years. This year, they took it a step further and set reuse as the norm. Across the three-day festival, food was served to tens of thousands of patrons with entirely reusable dishware and serviceware! And FOX 13 News took notice, featuring Stacie Woods (Marketing and Events Director at West Seattle Junction) and Reuse Seattle Lead Gwen Bartholomay to spread the word that reuse is the future of waste-free events.
