Cvent CONNECT is a wrap. 12,000 in attendance; almost 5,000 in-person in Nashville. Forbes wrote a great article and captured what we see changing in our industry. It's worth a read. Link in comments. Roger Dooley really nailed it. Being present is the rarest signal in modern business. Whether you're there in person or attending virtually, you've chosen to be present. That's what the Presence Premium™ is really about. The more AI proliferates, the more valuable authentic experiences and REAL human connection become. Because trust matters now more than ever. Our industry is changing fast. Buckle up. #Cvent #CventCONNECT #PresencePremium #EventLedGrowth
Cvent Connect 2026 was a powerful reminder of why showing up matters. Making the time is the hard part. But when an event is done well, the return on that time and investment is real. You leave feeling more energized, more present, and ready to get back to work with a renewed purpose. That was the wow factor for me at Cvent Connect 2026. Show the world what events can do. #CventConnect #Events #EventProfs
Love this perspective, Reggie Aggarwal. Presence is indeed one of the rarest business signals because showing up carries real cost and intent. We've been exploring a related idea: the real opportunity isn't just measuring a single event, but understanding the network of signals that emerges when millions of these moments are connected over time. That's where some very interesting intelligence starts to appear. And, event attribution problem starts to get partially solved.
Can't think of many buying signals that are higher intent than someone booking travel, a hotel, and a ticket to spend time with your company. That's about as strong a signal as it gets. Events aren't going anywhere. That said, B2B buying committees rarely attend together. These moments generate conversations, keynotes, demos, customer stories, and content that can be extended digitally to turn a few days into months of influence and pipeline.
Whether for businesses or individuals, attending an event in person demands a great deal of what is most precious: time, attention, money and energy. On top comes what happens during the event, both in practical and emotional terms. One cannot agree more that this sends a signal that is as rare as it is powerful. It is also useful in advertising, to build a bridge between live and media through offline-online integration,
Reggie Aggarwal good read and well-done for building Cvent to what it is now... but there's another headache I wish is getting more developments; The attendee already made the decision to show up. Then they hit a 20-minute will-call line because the comp list wasn't reconciled that morning. The Presence Premium gets promised the moment they buy the ticket. It gets delivered or lost in the first 90 seconds at the door. That part of the equation is still almost entirely manual and it doesn't get talked about enough.
AI with a Human Touch. While many organizations are moving toward fully AI driven experiences, Cvent is committed to using AI to enhance efficiency - not replace human interaction. By combining the power of AI with meaningful human conversations, Cvent enables faster, more streamlined, and personalized experiences for its customers. The Idea is being more efficient while valuing the Human Emotions.
The more AI handles the digital layer, the more valuable real attention becomes. Being fully present is starting to feel like a competitive advantage 👏
Five years at Cvent, and I couldn't be prouder of how far we've come. Watching the company transform, embrace innovation, and continue to lead the industry has been an incredible experience. It's inspiring to be part of an organization that believes technology should strengthen human connections, not replace them. Thank you, Reggie, for your vision and leadership, and for building a culture where we continue to learn, grow, and push boundaries together. Looking forward to everything that's still ahead. Proud to be part of this journey. 💚
Seeing it all come together made me so proud…the keynote, product roadmaps, launch video, and Music City venue flip all nearly flawless with huge impact! Proving the point and Cvent’s understanding of the #PresencePremium.
