When we asked Yunushan Karabacak, Junior AI & Sales Operations Specialist at FortoLabs, what gets him most excited about FortoLabs, he shared this: "What excites me most is that logistics is such an old industry, and a lot of it still runs on paperwork that hasn't really changed in decades. At FortoLabs, we're working on actually understanding that paperwork automatically instead of just digitizing it. It's not something people usually think about, but I like that I get to work on it from the ground up." Interested in finding out more about FortoLabs’ technology? Check out our website!

Maybe companies have been looking in the wrong place - buying output of AI in specific solutions, rather than leveraging the value it brings? I've maintained the same view on this since before GLYDE began. LLMs are a COMMUNICATION infrastructure technology. You don't prompt your way to success with this. Until leaders start thinking about the plumbing and stop buying products, the returns will be minimal and competition will remain ferocious. 🦁

“Be careful not to institutionalize waste.” One of the clearest points from our conversation with Mike DeAngelis. AI can create quick wins in logistics. But if it only makes broken processes easier to tolerate, it can become a band-aid instead of real improvement. The goal is not just to automate more. It is to understand what needs to change, where the process breaks down, and how technology can help teams move forward without locking in the waste.

What are shipowners and operators prioritising today? According to Andrea Morgante, three themes stood out at Posidonia Events: → Partnerships over transactions → Digitalisation at scale → Using AI and data to improve performance As the industry grows, so too does operational complexity. The challenge isn't just navigating change, it's improving performance while maintaining predictability in an increasingly complex operating environment. A year ago this month, I joined Kairoi as CTO. I've been quiet since, mostly heads-down and a little by design. We spent the year in build mode instead of broadcast mode. Here's what we built. Kairoi helps private equity firms, family offices, and the mid-market operators they own move from AI experiments to systems that actually run in production. We don't stop at advising. We build, and increasingly we run, the systems: deal and portfolio intelligence for investors, enterprise knowledge retrieval for family offices, and end-to-end operational platforms for operators. The hard part isn't getting AI to generate something. It's getting it to be right: consistently, at scale, in a real business. Our answer is a spec-driven discipline where structured specifications become the interface between human judgment and machine execution. The human decides what to build and why; the system handles the how, faithfully and fast. It plays to each side's strengths, and it makes our senior engineers more powerful, not less necessary. One idea still guides the work: Automate → Summarize → Synthesize Automate the repetitive. Surface institutional knowledge. Then enable systems that help people decide better. Agentic AI isn't about replacing people. It's about augmenting expertise and removing friction. After a year in stealth, I'm glad to finally talk about it. More on how we build this way soon.

Technology is transforming industries, including packaging... But people are still the driving force behind innovation. The companies investing in automation, AI, and smart manufacturing also need the talent to implement, optimize, and lead these advancements. The future of packaging belongs to organizations that invest in both technology and the people who make it work. I help identify the people!

Can legacy industries adopt AI without turning everything upside down? It's the question that stops most traditional businesses before they start. Leaders hear "AI transformation" and picture ripped-out systems, disrupted operations, and a workforce in revolt. Here's the truth: it doesn't have to work that way. Our latest video shows how manufacturing, healthcare, and finance can modernize with AI without replacing the core systems they already rely on. Innovation layered on top of what works, not a rip-and-replace. What that looks like in the real world: 🏭 Predictive maintenance in factories, catching equipment failures before they cause costly downtime 🏥 AI triage in hospitals, helping clinicians prioritize patients faster and more accurately 🏦 Smart fraud detection in banks, spotting suspicious activity in real time And yes, the challenges are real. Data silos and workforce resistance don't disappear on their own. But with thoughtful, strategic integration, they're absolutely surmountable. That's exactly what we do at Creative Bits AI: we guide traditional businesses through AI adoption strategically, securely, and without disruption. We meet your systems where they are and build from there. Because innovation doesn't always mean reinvention. What's the one process in your industry you'd most want AI to improve, without touching everything else? As AI takes on more of the innovation process end-to-end, the question isn’t just what the technology can do. It’s what happens to the teams. When agents connect the full arc from early signals to go/no-go decisions, roles shift, skills change, and the org chart starts to look different. Join Berto Mill of Aucctus AI + Harry Laplanche of Hive Strategy (formerly @ Panasonic, Walmart, Verizon) to discuss on 7/30 @ 1 PM ET: https://lnkd.in/epGxtsXh
