The electronics and semiconductor industry is undergoing a significant transformation, where sustainability is becoming a key driver of innovation, resilience, and long-term competitiveness. I recently had the opportunity to conduct a strategic workshop with the leadership team of a leading electronics and semiconductor manufacturing company to develop an integrated sustainability framework that combines Circular Economy, Waste Minimization, Cleaner Production, Environmental Engineering, Best Available Techniques (BAT), and Process Safety. The objective was to identify practical pathways for improving resource efficiency, reducing environmental impacts, and supporting Net Zero manufacturing.
