Alantra Private Equity has successfully completed the exit of Alantra Private Equity Fund III from Salto Systems, while reaffirming its long-term commitment to the company by reinvesting through Alantra Private Equity Fund IV and a dedicated co-investment vehicle, both managed by Alantra PE. Alantra PE has supported Salto through successive investment vehicles since 2013. Since then, the company has increased revenues sixfold, establishing itself as a global leader in smart access and identity solutions. The dedicated co-investment vehicle brings together a diversified group of domestic and international institutional investors and family offices, including Indar Kartera, Kutxabank’s long-term investment vehicle, as anchor investor. Gonzalo de Rivera, Managing Partner of Alantra Private Equity, said: “This transaction marks the successful exit of our Private Equity Fund III investment while reaffirming our conviction in Salto’s long-term growth potential. Our reinvestment through Fund IV and our dedicated co-investment vehicle demonstrate the flexibility of our investment model and our ability to mobilize long-term capital for exceptional businesses. We are delighted to continue partnering with Salto's founders and management team as they build on the company's remarkable global success.” The transaction represents Fund III’s third exit in 2026, following Health in Code® and Grupo Unión Martín, while enabling Alantra PE to continue partnering with Salto’s founders and management team as they build on the company’s global success. A slightly quieter month in June in terms of significant deals announced, but still some interesting discussion points. 1️⃣ The Glenholme deal is a major specialist care transaction and may help unlock further activity, after a number of other processes have stalled over the last 18 to 24 months. 2️⃣ PCS’ growth continues, with another very interesting acquisition, this time of Camascope. 3️⃣ Great to see Creature Comforts continuing its rollout with new investment. After significant scrutiny around M&A across the vet sector, it’s good to see investment behind the organic rollout of a differentiated model.

Institutional investors are continuing to concentrate capital with the industry's biggest private equity managers in Asia-Pacific. In the first half of 2026, just three funds accounted for 85% of all APAC private equity fundraising, according to PitchBook. The largest vehicles were managed by EQT Group, Blackstone and Bain Capital. The trend highlights investors' continued preference for established managers with proven track records, while creating a more challenging fundraising environment for smaller and emerging firms. €50 Billion Raised. 45 Companies. One Repeatable Investment Playbook. Cinven’s portfolio stretches from tax software and fund administration to pharmaceuticals, insurance broking and elevators. The businesses look unrelated. The economics rarely are. Cinven typically looks for: → An established market leader with room to grow → Recurring or highly visible revenue → A product customers struggle to replace → A fragmented market that can be consolidated → International expansion and multiple exit routes The portfolio shows how this strategy works: → Alter Domus sits behind the growth of private markets → idealista controls a leading European property marketplace → STADA more than doubled EBITDA under Cinven’s ownership → TK Elevator grew into a €29.4 billion strategic transaction → Säkra, Finaxy and group. One are consolidating fragmented industries The strategy has also evolved. Cinven increasingly invests alongside founders, previous owners and strategic partners, then realises value in stages instead of relying on a single full exit. The central bet is clear: as regulation, technology and operational complexity increase, scaled specialist businesses will become harder to replace and more valuable to own. 365247 Capital breaks down Cinven’s investment thesis, portfolio strategy, deal economics and what its 45 investments reveal about the future of private equity. 👉 READ: https://lnkd.in/gKAgzeBm #365247Capital #PrivateEquity #Cinven #Investing #Finance #MergersAndAcquisitions
