Similar symptoms can point to very different underlying conditions, which makes clinical evaluation heavily dependent on patient history, procedural findings, diagnostic testing, and physician interpretation. #Gastroenterologytranscriptionservice by MTS helps healthcare providers convert complex dictation into structured documentation that supports specialty-specific reporting. From consultations to endoscopy findings, MTS helps preserve the details that contribute to a more complete clinical picture. Good documentation does more than record findings. It helps connect them. #GastroenterologyTranscriptionService #MedicalTranscription #HealthcareDocumentation

Every IV therapy decision is about more than delivering fluids; it’s about delivering the right care with the right balance of efficiency and patient comfort. The choice of IV cannula plays a critical role in achieving consistent flow rates while minimizing discomfort, reducing vein trauma, and supporting successful therapy. Key considerations include: - Selecting the appropriate cannula gauge for the clinical indication - Balancing flow requirements with patient comfort - Preserving vein health and reducing complications - Supporting safer, more effective peripheral IV therapy Thoughtful device selection not only enhances clinical outcomes but also improves the overall patient experience. Clinical evidence is most meaningful when it translates into better patient outcomes. As the discussion continued, Michael F. Esposito, M.D. highlighted the long-term outcomes reported for appropriately selected patients undergoing basivertebral nerve ablation. Beyond reducing pain scores, the data demonstrate meaningful improvements in what matters most: • Long-term patient satisfaction • Improved function and quality of life • Reduced reliance on opioid medications • Durable outcomes maintained over five years These conversations are important because they help clinicians move beyond asking, “Does this procedure work?” and begin asking, “Which patients are most likely to benefit?” Thank you to everyone who joined us for another evening of thoughtful discussion on evidence-based approaches to chronic vertebrogenic low back pain. #InterventionalPain #EvidenceBasedMedicine #VertebrogenicPain #ChronicLowBackPain #MedicalEducation #SpineCare #BostonScientific #ISPIFL

Among adults with #ASCVD, a digitally enabled quality improvement initiative integrating previsit screening, real-time clinical decision support, audit and feedback, and patient engagement tools resulted in significantly greater LDL-C reduction and treatment intensification at 6 months compared with usual care. Statin and ezetimibe combination therapy use was notably higher in intervention clinics, but achievement of guideline LDL-C targets remained incomplete. These findings indicate that digital platforms can support implementation of contemporary lipid management strategies but may need further refinement and improved access to advanced therapies to fully resolve care gaps. https://ja.ma/3T4gprA

AI’s role in health care is increasingly moving from back-office efficiency to front-line clinical planning. The Valley Hospital said July 27 it became the first hospital in the country to use Heartflow PCI Navigator outside of a clinical study. The software supports coronary angioplasty by creating a personalized 3D model of a patient’s heart before the procedure, giving cardiologists details on vessel sizing, plaque buildup and blood flow. For patients with coronary artery disease, that kind of pre-procedure insight can be especially important. Valley said the tool helps physicians plan treatment and stent placement in advance, rather than relying on the most detailed view of a patient’s arteries during the procedure itself. https://lnkd.in/eNgzDw4X
