As sons, daughters, and caregivers, our core mission and responsibility is to make this phase of their lives as meaningful, dignified, and joyful as possible. And here’s the thing: it’s rarely about the big, formal check-ins. It’s the small talk, the inside family jokes, and the quiet daily moments that bring the biggest smiles. That got me thinking about a potential feature idea for Abi: Asynchronous Family Messaging. 📹✨ ... Imagine a resident telling Abi: 👉 "Hey Abi, send a quick video message to my son!" Later that day, when work wraps up, the son records a 30-second clip sharing a quick joke or an update on the grandkids, and Abi plays it back for Mom or Dad right at their bedside. Live calls can be hard to coordinate across busy schedules, but daily video notes keep the family connection alive in a way that feels natural, warm, and low-pressure.
