The C-suite wants innovation. The ops team wants the system to stop breaking on Friday afternoon. Both are right. And they're not in conflict as often as they seem. Most logistics teams aren't against new technology. They've just been burned by implementations that made their day harder before making it easier. A lot of them are still waiting for the “easier” part. A new platform that requires three workarounds, two manual exports, and a 40-minute sync window isn't innovation. It's a different kind of problem. The organizations getting the most value from logistics tech right now are the ones who did the unglamorous work first: clean data, stable integrations, a team that trusts the system.
