Interesting conversation with the CorridorIQ team on AI, real estate, and what actually becomes more valuable as technology improves. My view is pretty simple: AI is a tool. Not a cheat code. It can produce information quickly. But in real estate, information is only part of the job. The real work is still discernment, trust, context, and understanding why a person is making a move in the first place. That’s especially true in housing, where decisions are emotional, local, and tied to a physical asset. AI will absolutely change workflows. But I don’t think it replaces the need for human judgment. As AI expands, local market interpretation may become more valuable, not less.

AI is still a child. And like any child, it needs guidance, correction, and consistent human involvement to grow in the right direction. Skillsoft's own Asha J. Palmer, JD, CCEP, LPEC, SVP of Compliance Solutions, joined Doug Atkinson on The Human Conversation podcast to talk about what responsible AI use actually looks like — and why the question isn't whether humans will need to intervene, but where.
