Hear from our Project Leader Mary van Helden in a new interview with Lauren Coyle at Bioconjugate Insights (BioInsights), in which they discuss the development of immunostimulatory phosphonate antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), linker chemistry, payload design and much more. Mary highlights Byondis' scientific approach to our proprietary ADC platforms designed to address acquired resistance, a key challenge with current ADC treatments. She explores our immunostimulatory phosphonate ADC technology platform, its engineering rationale, and why this positions our approach for use across multiple tumor targets. 🔬 A new mini review by Mia Zol‑Hanlon and Neil Q. McDonald explores recent progress in defining RET (REarrangement during Transfection) receptor architecture and structure. The review also discusses current models for how distinct assemblies of GFL–GFRα–RET receptor complexes activate the intrinsic RET tyrosine kinase to relay intracellular signals. The structural and mechanistic insights described are enabling new approaches to targeting RET, potentially expanding the repertoire of molecules and biologics available to treat RET‑driven disease. 📖 Read the review: https://lnkd.in/ez6JV4ua 🌟 This paper forms part of the themed collection RET@Thirty: Three Decades of Remarkable Progress.

Three years ago, our R&D team set out to solve a problem the global #ADC industry has been grinding on for over a decade: how to tether a cytotoxic payload to an antibody so it stays stable in circulation — and releases precisely at the tumor. We received the answer in writing. Taiwan's Intellectual Property Office has granted AMS BioteQ (TWSE: 6864) the patent for our #TenTacle™ linker conjugate technology — the core architecture behind our ADC platform. (App. No. 112149200, IPC A61P 35/00, US priority 63/476,157.) What TenTacle™ brings: — High water solubility and structural stability, addressing the aggregation issues that have limited many ADC candidates — Non-cytotoxic linker design, widening the therapeutic safety window — Multivalent architecture, compatible with our proprietary fungal-derived compounds YUAN-01 and YUAN-03, targeting breast and lung cancers In ADC development, the bottleneck has never been the antibody or the payload — it has been the linker. Owning a differentiated, patent-protected one moves us from downstream participant to holder of infrastructure the field needs. TenTacle™ now opens the licensing platform — international partnerships running in parallel with our own pipeline. #ADC #Biotech #Oncology #AMSBioteQ

Really excited for #ISCT2026 this year! We will have the Osilaris bioreactor platform live at booth 1415 for demos, and I will be giving an elevator pitch on how we use Osilaris for closed, suspension-based hiPSC expansion on May 7 at 16:00. I will be sharing a short preview of some beautiful work from Juda-El Sam, focused on a closed, aggregate-based approach where single cells repeatedly form spheroids in suspension and what this could mean for more scalable, automated manufacturing of iPSCs. If you are working on MSC, iPSC or T-cell processes and want to see our bioreactor platform running, I hope to see you in Dublin!

Cells can sometimes accept mitochondria from outside. The hard part is delivery. A new Cell paper tested mitochondria packed into protective capsules. The capsule helps the organelle reach damaged cells instead of getting degraded on the way in. In mitochondrial disease and Parkinson's models, that improved energy function. Still preclinical, but the framing is interesting: organelle therapy, not another small molecule. Source: https://lnkd.in/eaKMJA3x
