Dr Chris Ball’s Post

We did it! 💥 I’m still on a major high, having finished The IRONMAN Group 70.3 Bolton last weekend. It was easily the most enjoyable sporting experience I’ve had, and the support across the course was phenomenal. Bigger than that, we raised over £9000, with my brother and business partner Michael doubling that to over £18000 raised for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, as part of Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust. The biggest fundraiser in the event by a country mile. These funds are going to make a serious difference for cancer patients in Lancashire, and their families. I’ve enjoyed a recovery week, but time to get back at it on the roads, in the pool and on the saddle. I’m already thinking how can we do more for local charities supporting people facing Cancer. Watch this space, new projects coming soon. Big thanks to everyone who’s donated, or supported me on my way to completing an Ironman event. I certainly couldn’t have done it alone ❤️

Massive achievement Dr Chris Ball 👏. Finishing an Ironman 70.3 is impressive enough, but raising £18,000+ for such an important cause takes it to another level. The recovery might be over, but I suspect the impact of those funds will be felt for a long time pal

Well done Chris. 🙌🏼 What an experience. I’m planning one next year so might pick your brains a bit.

Amazing. No mean feat that. Starting with that event is crazy hard. Well done Ironman 💪.
