Rising energy costs, aging infrastructure, and increasing competition for power capacity are making onsite generation a strategic priority for many organizations. As the proverb suggests, the opportunity to act yesterday may have passed, but the opportunity to strengthen your energy future still exists today. Whether the objective is eliminating costly demand charges, environmental stewardship, or ensuring your facility has the power it needs to keep operations running through grid interruptions or severe weather, onsite generation can deliver meaningful benefits that protect both your bottom line, the environment and ultimately your peace of mind. Capital doesn't have to be the barrier. Alternative delivery methods such as energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) models can help organizations move projects forward without significant upfront investment or the operational burden of the assets. Every day spent waiting is another day of potential savings and energy security left on the table. And of course, you need a partner who can build the infrastructure. As a technology-agnostic EPC, Mead & Hunt has a long history providing turnkey delivery of onsite energy projects. Check out our latest blog to learn more about how onsite generation can help organizations improve resiliency, manage energy costs, and achieve their long-term energy objectives. #OnsiteGeneration #EnergyResilience #DistributedEnergy #CHP #Microgrids #BatteryStorage #Decarbonization #EnergyInfrastructure #MeadHunt

What are some of the biggest barriers to financing the next decade of grid investment? That was the question on the table last week, as United President & CEO Heather O'Neill joined energy leaders for the "Price of Progress" panel at the Reuters Events Global Energy Forum 2026 in New York. The conversation dug into how the industry scales grid infrastructure and how the challenge of balancing affordability with reliability is being met in the U.S. and other parts of the world. More than 600 industry and policy experts gathered at the forum last week, incorporating various perspectives and practical solutions for a more resilient energy system.
