I miss when the CFPB was posting nearly every month about some quagmire, dopey financial firm being charged for screwing over consumers. Such a bummer the bureau got DOGE’d, and it was all for nothing.
I thought the cpfb had been dismantled by doge.
This is a great job.
I have a pending complaint #260430-32080107 since April 30, 2026. My case is in 'limited details' status, and I cannot upload critical evidence. Please advise on how to escalate this.
Rare opportunity to join the executive ranks in the Legal Division at CFPB.
I hope the company hires litigators interested in truly helping Americans instead of giving a free pass to the companies they seem to treat with kids gloves. Here is a copy of feedback I sent after a nothing burger response from CFPB. Its a joke. They just check the box and don't investigate. " If anyone at CFPB had read my complain and checked it versus the company response they would have seen that the response is false. They stated a new title was mailed June 8th. My complaint was filed in July so the dates do not line up. Also I asked for information regarding when the title was supposedly mailed, carrier, etc... and this was not provided. Once again this proves the statement I made that (company ) is engaged in deceptive practices. CFPB seems to treat this company with kids gloves. The call center director at ( company) lists CFPB as one of the companies he follows on LinkedIn. This finance company has a 1 star rating on Google. (company) is owned by a foreign bank. It has terrible customer service yet the agency that Americans trust to protect us is not doing a very good job if it allows the company to say whatever it wants."
You need attorneys to defend the dismantling of consumer protections from legal challenges. No thanks.
