What does Pride mean to us? 🌈 For our team, it's a chance to celebrate and stand together with the LGBTQ+ community and show up to represent staff and members of the diabetes community. Last weekend, a small but mighty group of Diabetes UK staff and volunteers joined the celebrations at Pride in London - alongside our incredible ambassador SALLY TM, who you may recognise from RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager, Dani Meier - Chartered MCIPD, reflected on what the day meant to her: "Pride is such a powerful celebration and important protest. I feel honoured to have spent the day surrounded by thousands of people singing, shouting and cheering about love and acceptance. It gives me hope." A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in London and helped make the day so special. We're looking forward to continuing the celebrations at Belfast Pride, this weekend 💙 #LondonPride #Pride #DiabetesUK
