This spring, baraka (YC S21) launched options trading with DriveWealth. Founded in 2020, baraka provides investors across the Middle East with access to U.S. markets through its investing app, supported by market insights, educational resources and portfolio tools. Through DriveWealth’s infrastructure, eligible baraka investors can now trade long call and put options on more than 500 U.S. stocks, giving them another way to express bullish or bearish market views with greater precision and control. The launch expands the range of investment products available through baraka and responds to growing demand from its investor community. # # # Options carry significant risk and are not suitable for all investors. Options trading may expose investors to potentially rapid and substantial losses. Individuals should not enter into an options transaction until they have read and understand the options disclosure document, “Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options”, which outlines the purposes and risks of options transactions. A copy of the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options (the “ODD”), including supplements, issued by the Options Clearing Corporation, can be found here (https://lnkd.in/gr_MsPH3).
