The organisations that treat electrification as a coordinated ecosystem rather than a series of individual projects are likely to scale faster and achieve better long-term operational resilience.
Good read. The point on switchgear sized for future loads is something I relate to directly. I have spent years around MV grid connected systems and BESS certification work, and undersizing at the design stage is one of those decisions that looks fine on paper but comes back to bite you two years later when the site needs to scale. Building in that headroom early costs more upfront but saves a lot of rework. Solid framing that this is a coordination problem, not a technology problem.
Fleet electrification is a strong example of why successful transformation depends on more than technology alone. From a project management perspective, the real challenge lies in coordinating utilities, infrastructure providers, engineering teams, OEMs and fleet operations from the outset.
