Critical risks no longer sit only inside your organization. They sit in the infrastructure, AI models, platforms and dependencies your business relies on every day. As AI and ecosystems expand, understanding control, exposure and critical dependencies becomes increasingly important. Sovereignty starts with visibility and control, knowing where your data resides, who governs critical systems, and how to maintain operational readiness when geopolitical changes rise. Eraneos helps organizations identify dependencies earlier, strengthen governance, and make faster, more confident decisions through AI-driven insights. So, you can be prepared and stay in control where it matters most.

I have had a lot of meetings and discussions over the past year and beyond, talking about our 30 years of verified knowledge and experts that have helped guide the technology direction of thousands of companies. Most of the time I find myself trying to defend it to people who say it's old and outdated. I have to admit at times wanting to hide and sweep some of that part of who we are under the rug letting the outside voices, who only can see what’s cool and cutting edge, say what is valuable. The reality is that legacy systems, code and infrastructure still run the world. The future of AI won't replace legacy systems overnight. It will be built on top of them, integrated with them, and constrained by them. Companies that understand both worlds will create the most value. I don’t want to distance ourselves from our legacy, I want to embrace it, because helping organizations modernize starts with deeply understanding what they're modernizing and maintaining critical continuity. At Experts Exchange, we've spent nearly 30 years helping organizations solve some of the most difficult technology problems imaginable. Thousands of companies. Millions of verified solutions. That experience isn't something to hide, it’s our advantage, since 1996.

Agencies are in need of secure, cost‑effective, and mission‑aligned technology with a clear view of their application landscape. Booz Allen teams support creation of that clarity through application rationalization, revealing which systems strengthen the mission, which introduce risk, where reuse delivers value, and where retiring or consolidating assets can unlock meaningful cost savings. Our AI‑enabled discovery approach unifies inventories, dependencies, risks, and readiness into a single, actionable view. That insight helps agencies improve security, resiliency, and operational efficiency while directing investments to the applications that matter most for the mission. See how Booz Allen Hamilton uses AI to accelerate application discovery, dependency analysis, and modernization planning. #transformation

Most organizations approach AI readiness by selecting a tool first. The ones generating sustained value started somewhere else: data governance, clean infrastructure, and the foundational work that rarely makes it into early budget conversations. That sequencing decision shapes everything downstream. Organizations that invest in data foundations first build compounding competitive advantage. Those that skip that step tend to find themselves running the same pilots a year later. The bottleneck is rarely the technology. It's the data infrastructure behind it. https://lnkd.in/epy3JfPG

🌍 Honored to contribute my perspectives on AI sovereignty and the future of trusted AI adoption in emerging digital economies, with IBM As organizations accelerate AI adoption, a critical question is emerging: How do we maintain control, resilience, and trust while scaling AI across the enterprise? The latest IBM Institute for Business Value report, "The Calculus of AI Sovereignty," highlights a growing challenge, many organizations are becoming increasingly dependent on AI vendors, models, and infrastructure they do not fully understand or control. The report found that only 9% of executives have an excellent understanding of their AI dependencies, while 71% believe switching their primary AI vendor or model would be difficult today. I am pleased to have contributed to the broader dialogue around AI sovereignty, an area that is becoming increasingly important for enterprises, governments, and regulated industries. AI sovereignty is not about owning every component of the AI stack, it is about preserving the ability to govern, adapt, and make strategic choices as technologies, regulations, and business conditions evolve. Key considerations for leaders include: ✅ Data sovereignty and residency ✅ Model portability and interoperability ✅ Hybrid and multi-cloud flexibility ✅ Responsible AI governance ✅ Reducing vendor lock-in risks ✅ Building resilient AI operating models As Sri Lanka and the broader region continue to advance their AI ambitions, establishing sovereign, trusted, and secure AI ecosystems will be essential to unlocking sustainable value. I encourage leaders, policymakers, and technology professionals to explore this thought-provoking report. 📖 The Calculus of AI Sovereignty by IBM Institute for Business Value: https://lnkd.in/gsZY4aBE #AISovereignty #ArtificialIntelligence #DataGovernance #ResponsibleAI #DigitalTransformation #HybridCloud #OpenAI #EnterpriseAI #DataAndAI #Innovation #Leadership #IBMIBV #SLTMOBITEL
AI sovereignty becomes real when leaders turn insight into action. According to our research, the most effective organizations aren’t just responding to disruption when it strikes. They’re running outage simulations, validating alternatives, and strengthening portability across data, models, and infrastructure. Small steps taken now create the flexibility that keeps AI-powered operations running when conditions shift.
