Automation is powerful, but you shouldn’t have to choose between fully manual or blindly automated. That’s why we built our Human-in-the-Loop interface into LumoDoc - to make your document processing as efficient as possible. Our centralized dashboard ensures you maintain oversight. Instead of manual data validation, we highlight where the data was found and flag exactly which points need review or are ready for delivery. Ensuring maximum accuracy, giving you the best of both worlds. Discover how it works:: https://lnkd.in/dUc58drb

The demo is not the hard part. The hard part is making the workflow supportable after it is live. Who owns the inputs, what happens when data is missing, where errors are logged, who can override a decision, and how the team knows the result can be trusted. That is the difference between a neat automation and a system the business can run.

The worst automation is the silent one. A workflow that doesn't error out but loses contacts in the middle is worse than one that visibly breaks. You don't know there's a problem until conversion rates tank. Before deployment: ✓ Test with real data (not sample) ✓ Log every branch decision ✓ Set up alerts for empty exits (contacts who shouldn't be there) ✓ Review weekly, not monthly Visibility first. Scale second.

Processing 1,200+ compliance documents wasn't the challenge. Building a workflow that could scale without adding manual effort was. We combined AI-powered extraction models with workflow automation to reduce field extraction time from 45 seconds to 0.24-0.36 seconds while increasing upload capacity 5x. Here's how we built that repeatable workflow for high-volume document extraction: https://lnkd.in/gUrBvrtc

Carousel: how to choose an automation platform (decision framework) Slide 1 — Picking an automation tool? Answer 5 questions first. Slide 2 — 1. How many tasks/month? (low = Zapier, high = n8n) Slide 3 — 2. How complex is the logic? (branching = Make or n8n) Slide 4 — 3. Do you need to own your data? (yes = self-host n8n) Slide 5 — 4. Who's maintaining it — you or a partner? Slide 6 — 5. How fast will your volume grow? (fast = avoid per-task pricing) Slide 7 — Answer these and the "best tool" debate answers itself. Slide 8 — Want help deciding? Free automation consult, link in comments. Zapier or Make? Vote in the comments — curious where everyone lands.

The #1 reason automation fails isn't the tool. It's dirty data going in. Most agencies skip data cleanup before building workflows. Then wonder why their sequences break, contacts get orphaned, or follow-ups miss. Here's the checklist before touching any automation: ✓ Duplicate contacts merged ✓ Phone/email normalized (no formatting drift) ✓ Custom fields with defined values (not free text) ✓ Historical data cleaned or archived Fix the foundation first. The automation becomes reliable 10x faster.

Why does integration so often become a long, expensive project? Because too many tools treat integration as an afterthought. Your field data should move seamlessly between systems without manual entry, spreadsheets, or workarounds. When integration is built into the solution from the start, teams spend less time managing data and more time using it. Learn more: https://hubs.li/Q04r3BfQ0

בס"ד Walk-forward optimization caught my attention the moment I came across it. Instead of a simple in-sample/out-of-sample split, the technique makes efficient use of historical data - reserving more than half of it (depending on the settings) for out-of-sample testing - while continuously testing whether the original system hypothesis still holds. The process gave me much greater confidence in the systems I currently trade live, and helped me filter out other shiny but fragile systems. Building the automation engine as a wrapper around my backtester took some effort, but it was well worth it. Here is my little experiment: https://lnkd.in/d62DbgV3

Management report automation: getting timely data without manual file assembly is not a feature-list problem. It is a business clarity problem: what should change, which first step proves value, and what should wait. The expensive mistake is building the full system before the team validates the process, data and ownership behind it. In this CHDR article we break down the first-stage scope, the risks to avoid and the metrics worth tracking before scaling the investment. https://lnkd.in/dKKqMbFJ
