Acid Alert has recently received support from VLAIO through a spin-off Innovation Mandate and KU Leuven's Industrial Research Fund (IOF). Acid Alert is a sensor technology for monitoring volatile acids in food processing environments. These projects support complementary aspects of the Acid Alert roadmap and will help advance the technology towards pilot-line demonstration in potato blanching processes.
