As we settle down in our new global primary HQ in Windhoek, Namibia , we were honored to host a delegation from the African Development Bank Group led by Mtchera Johannes Chirwa -Director of Water & Sanitation to explore collaboration and partnership on accelerating water investments anchored from Namibia 🇳🇦 and scale transformative solutions across the continent. Hosted by Alex Simalabwi , GWPO CEO & Executive Secretary of Global Water Partnership & GWP Technical Advisors Jaehyang So ( Chair), Dr Alex Money, Per Bertilsson, the Afdb engagement is part of our ongoing global transformation agenda that includes collaboration with MDBs globally & follows the inaugural GWP global Board Meeting in June including our Board engagement at State House with H.E Netumbo Nandi- Ndaitwa President of Republic of Namibia 🇳🇦. This is exactly the kind of collaboration the water sector needs. Achieving universal access to safe water will require more than funding alone.
