A new milestone for JAPlanet Fusion! JA ESS's new Hybrid C&I BESS has been delivered to a solar project site, marking its transition from laboratory testing to real-world application. Designed with weak-grid markets in mind, JAPlanet Fusion uses a DC-coupled architecture to coordinate solar generation, energy storage, on-site loads and the grid within one integrated system. Solar power can be prioritised for local consumption, with surplus energy stored for use when solar output falls or grid conditions become unstable. Connected to the JANebula™ Digital Energy Cloud Platform, the system will now operate under real grid, load, environmental and communication conditions. The resulting data and project experience will support further optimisation of system controls, remote monitoring, commissioning and O&M strategies. JAPlanet Fusion is scheduled to enter mass production in September, moving from a single real-world application towards wider deployment across Africa and other weak-grid markets worldwide.
Looking forward to welcome this product
