🌱 JB Energy and Arvut Sign Strategic MOU for Environmental and Social Studies of the Aura Sul Wind Project 🇧🇷🌊 We are proud to announce the signing of a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Arvut and JB Energy - Japan Blue Energy Co., Ltd. to support the environmental licensing and environmental & social studies for the Aura Sul Wind Project, Brazil's first floating offshore wind demonstration project. The agreement was signed in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, by Rodolfo Gonçalves, Chief Executive Officer of JB Energy, and Kayo Soares, Chief Executive Officer of Arvut, marking another important milestone in the development of the project. Environmental licensing is one of the most important pillars of any offshore wind project. Beyond regulatory compliance, it provides the foundation for responsible project development, stakeholder engagement, and long-term sustainability. Through this partnership, Arvut will lead the environmental and social studies required under the Terms of Reference (TR) issued by IBAMA, supporting the Preliminary License (LP) and the next stages of environmental licensing for the Aura Sul Wind Project. 🌱 Scope of the partnership includes: 🔹 Environmental licensing 🔹 Environmental and social studies 🔹 Physical, biotic, and socio-economic diagnostics 🔹 Environmental impact assessments 🔹 Environmental management plans 🔹 Stakeholder engagement and regulatory support 💬 Rodolfo Trentin Gonçalves, CEO of JB Energy: "Environmental licensing is one of the most important pillars of any offshore wind project. 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Moonies Hill New Energy has referred the $750 million, 204-megawatt (MW) Kojonup hybrid wind project to Western Australia's Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) for final approval. The development cleared the regional planning process in just three months and is targeting a construction start next year, with full commercial operations slated for late 2028 or early 2029.

Llŷr floating wind farm secures marine licence off the Pembrokeshire coast. Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru / Natural Resources Wales has granted a marine licence for the Llŷr floating offshore wind project, a test and demonstration facility in Welsh waters. The project is among the first floating offshore wind farms to be developed and constructed in the UK. • Location: Pembrokeshire coast, Wales • Capacity: 200 MW, enough to power an estimated 200,000 homes • Infrastructure: 10 turbines, each standing more than 300 metres above sea level • Purpose: Test and demonstration facility focused on emerging floating wind technologies • Licensing authority: Natural Resources Wales The marine licence grant marks a concrete step forward in the UK's efforts to commercialise floating offshore wind technology at scale. (TVIRD), received positive assessments during a recent environmental inspection that highlighted its renewable energy investments, rehabilitation efforts, and compliance with environmental standards. Among the key developments reviewed was the newly completed Greenstone Solar Farm, a 5.3-megawatt-peak facility expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 4,100 metric tons annually.
