Mammoet recently rotated sector three of the Vacuum Vessel at ITER Organization - positioning it to allow preparations to begin earlier and accelerate its assembly. The nearly 400t component is one of nine segments that will come together to form the sealed structure in which fusion reactions will occur at the site. It was rotated using a combined gantry, skidding and strand jack system, over the course of 13 hours. #Mammoet #Nuclear #Fusion
