When we work at the front desk of a dental office, we have to wear 50 hats at once. Where are the plumber, where the receptionist, where the insurance coordinator, where the everything, right? And the number one thing that I think that that we don't recognize the importance of is that when that phone rings, when we go to pick up the phone, we have to take off the 26 hats that we have and we have to put on the right hat. And that right hat is a receptionist hat. When we answer the phone, we are there to greet that patient. That could be the first impression of a new patient. Experience that could be a current patient that just needs to be reminded how great your office is. But it's important to make sure that our team members realize when we answer that phone, our goal is that phone call. And that is the most important part of this experience that they're handling right now. So making sure that your team is trained to know how important that phone call is, is key and in success of your dental practice.
