☀️Summer heat can become dangerous faster than you think. Whether you're working outdoors, enjoying the lake, cheering from the sidelines, or simply running errands, taking a few extra precautions can help prevent heat-related illnesses. Remember to: 💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day. 🧢 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing. 🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning. 🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle—even for a minute. 👵 Check in on older adults, young children, and others who may be more vulnerable to extreme heat. It's also important to recognize the warning signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If someone is showing signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately. Quick action can save a life. Stay safe, stay cool, and look out for one another this summer. ❤️🚑 #PriorityAmbulance #HeatSafety #SummerSafety #HeatIllnessPrevention #EMS #CommunityFirst
