I want to learn how to use Typst, so I asked Fable5 with a simple and slightly careless prompt: “I want to learn how to use Typst using Quarto in RStudio. Provide .qmd files with code and exercises for me to complete and learn, using any dataset already available in Quarto. Do it in a way that I can upload the training material to GitHub for sharing.” This is what I got: <https://lnkd.in/eFvZNWit> So far, the first part is working. I’ll let you know if everything is OK once I finish the tutorial 😊

🚀 My First C++ Project: Building an Order Book & Matching Engine To dive into modern C++ and understand the low-level mechanics behind financial trading platforms, I built a high-performance Order Book & Matching Engine from scratch! 💡 Key Features: 📈 Bid/Ask Order Book: Efficient market depth management using standard C++ containers (std::map, std::list). ⚡ Automated Matching: Order execution based on Price-Time Priority. 🎯 Limit & Market Orders: Support for immediate market execution, limit matching, and partial fills. 📊 Ticker Tape & Trade Reporting: Real-time generation and tracking of executed trades. 🔒 Modern Memory Management: Safe and clean resource handling using smart pointers (std::shared_ptr). 🧠 Key Takeaways: Designing this system helped me deepen my understanding of C++17/C++20 concepts (OOP, encapsulation, template usage, dynamic memory) while solving real-world algorithmic problems. 💻 Check out the source code on my GitHub (https://lnkd.in/eDrSWdbe)! #cpp #programming #fintech #softwareengineering #softwaredevelopment #coding #github #backend

My colleagues from Navigation Toolbox ran some evaluations how skills assist coding agents when writing #MATLAB code. The results are about as expected (better results, doesn't re-implement existing functions, uses less tokens). We provide a public repository of skills and an MCP server setup on Github, I strongly recommend to leverage the #MATLAB and #Simulink Agentic Toolkit: https://lnkd.in/eynNmhta

New in Claude Code: /checkup Run /checkup to: 1. Clean up unused skills/MCPs/plugins and save context 2. Dedup your local CLAUDE.md against the checked in CLAUDE.md 3. Break up root CLAUDE.md into nested CLAUDE.md's + skills 4. Turn off slow hooks 5. Update your Claude Code to the latest version 6. Enable auto mode by default 7. Pre-approve frequently denied read-only commands .. And a few other goodies. /checkup confirms with you before making any changes. Enjoy!

RAG1--> Rebuilt my RAG-based PDF Assistant from the ground up — and this version actually behaves like production code, not just a demo. What's new under the hood: ✅ Cosine similarity search instead of raw distance, so retrieval quality is measurably better ✅ Every answer now comes with a confidence score, so you can see how relevant each retrieved chunk actually was ✅ Handles messy real-world file paths (drag-and-drop URLs, quoted paths, Windows paths) without breaking ✅ Strict "no hallucination" prompting — if the answer isn't in the document, it says so instead of guessing ✅ Proper error handling at every stage, so one bad PDF doesn't crash the whole pipeline ✅ Optional voice output — ask, read, or listen, your choice Still the same core idea: retrieve first, then generate — grounding every answer in the actual document instead of the model's memory. The gap between "it works on my laptop" and "it works reliably" is where most of the real learning happens. This was a good reminder of that. #RAG #GenAI #PythonProjects #MachineLearning #AIEngineering
