Copper led today’s scrap market lower, declining $0.19 per pound across major grades on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Brass followed with losses of $0.05 to $0.07 per pound, while aluminum, steel, and stainless steel remained largely unchanged. This type of divergence is worth noting. When copper moves independently while other categories hold steady, it can indicate uneven demand conditions or delayed pricing adjustments across the market. From an operational standpoint, that kind of split environment can create short-term regional pricing gaps before broader alignment occurs. 👉 Full daily breakdown: https://lnkd.in/eKcDgDZH #ScrapMonster #ScrapMetal #RecyclingIndustry #CommodityMarkets #Copper #MetalMarkets #ScrapPrices #IndustrialMetals #MarketUpdate
