Sidekick now works with your apps. Get answers and take action in third-party apps like Klaviyo and Checkout Links, right from your conversation. Developers: build a Sidekick app extension to connect your data and workflows. https://lnkd.in/gcqy2atf

Connecting data and workflows to Sidekick is probably 10% of the work. Scope is the hard part. I've wired up MCP integrations for ops workflows, and the time sink is always defining what gets automated without asking, what needs a human in the loop, and what never touches production. When an extension reaches Klaviyo campaigns or Checkout Links order flows, it's making calls close to revenue: how does the framework handle action scope limits and rollback?

Integrating Sidekick with third-party apps will lead to unexpected data silos if not managed carefully. Is data synchronization handled in real-time, or is there a lag affecting workflow efficiency?

I used to lose hours jumping between Shopify, Klaviyo, and spreadsheets just to answer simple questions like 'how did the last campaign perform?'- Sidekick finally connecting those dots in one conversation feels like getting my afternoons back.

Shopify The most interesting part isn't that Sidekick can answer questions about apps. It's that we're watching interfaces become conversational layers over entire ecosystems. Historically, users learned software. Increasingly, software will learn user intent and coordinate the tools behind the scenes. That's a much bigger shift than most people realize.

We’ve spent years connecting systems so data can flow between applications. It’s fascinating to watch AI become the interface that sits on top of those workflows.

AI assistants are becoming operational hubs, not just support tools. The value grows as more workflows connect in one place.

This is a meaningful step toward making Shopify's AI genuinely useful in day-to-day operations. The ability to work across apps should help merchants spend less time navigating tools and more time making decisions.

Integrating Sidekick with third-party apps is a game-changer for merchant workflows. At Nalzio, we’re all about streamlining data—and this kind of connectivity makes it easier than ever to bridge the gap between insights and action. Great move, Shopify! 🚀

AI without stack integration is just friction. same problem Munch Studio is solving.

integrations are easy, brand voice across them isn't. that's why Munch Studio exists.
