We often wonder why the most capable and best employees leave their job. But have you tried to hear their side of the story? 1) Bad Managers 2) Getting personal life in between work 3) Paying them peanuts for the job and all the extra work they make them do 4) Forgetting that the employee has a heart at the end of the day and you cannot bash them up for your failure in relationships I have seen bosses who forget to treat their employee correctly and then try to blame them for all the mess they themselves ie. the boss created. Like Karen, you need to live up to the salary you're being paid. Do not devalue someone just cause their pay is less than yours. We all have had a Karen at least once at our workplace, haven't we? They traumatize us in the best way possible, and then we become better than them at a very young age.

Dear employers: If you're offering a $5,000–$10,000 sign-on bonus and you're constantly hiring for the same position, have you asked why people aren't staying? Sign-on bonuses attract applicants. They don't solve poor leadership, toxic workplace culture, unpredictable scheduling, chronic understaffing, burnout, or a lack of career growth. Instead of spending more money to attract new employees, invest in understanding what's driving them away. Find the tension in your employees or your workplace practices that's causing people to leave. I recently left a toxic workplace after just six weeks, fully aware that I would have to repay the 50% of the sign-on bonus I had already received because I chose not to stay. The cost of leaving was worth protecting my well-being. A toxic supervisor and promises made during the interview process that were never fulfilled ultimately drove my decision. Retention isn't bought with a sign-on bonus. It's earned by creating a workplace where people actually want to stay. 💙 #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeRetention #Leadership #Hiring #Recruitment #HumanResources #TalentAcquisition #CandidateExperience #WorkplaceWellbeing #Management #CareerDevelopment #JobSearch #LeadershipMatters #EmployeeExperience #HR

Four reasons your best workers walk away: 1️⃣ Feeling invisible. Doing good work that nobody notices wears people down faster than the work itself. 2️⃣ Unpredictable income. When earnings swing week to week with no clarity, it's hard to plan a life. 3️⃣ Delayed recognition. A "good job" three weeks later doesn't land the way it would in the moment. 4️⃣ No path forward. People stay where they can see themselves growing. 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐱. Most just require attention and the right systems.

A self-claimed multinational company I worked 1 year ago followed this. They never paid salary on time, often delayed for days after days.

#SalaryDelay #CorporateBangladesh #EmployeeRights #HR

For a long time, I thought people changed jobs for one reason: a higher salary. But after talking to people who had actually resigned, I realized money usually wasn't the main reason. Most left because they didn't feel valued. Their efforts went unnoticed, feedback only came when something went wrong, and speaking up didn't feel safe. Salary may attract people, but respect, recognition, and a positive work environment are what make them stay. What's the biggest reason you've seen great employees leave a company?
