Ghana has just become one of the biggest single buyers of its own gold. The economics of the move are straightforward. Whether the country can build the accountability to match its ambition is the harder story. For five centuries before independence, European traders knew this stretch of West African coastline by one name: the Gold Coast. The metal that gave the country its colonial title now sits at the centre of one of its most consequential economic decisions in years. From 1 July 2026, every large-scale mining company operating in Ghana must sell 30 percent of its gold output directly to the state, through the newly empowered Ghana Gold Board, known as GoldBod. Read one way, this is simply a reserves story: more gold in the vault, a stronger cedi, a country finally capturing value from a resource it has shipped out raw for a century. Most of the coverage so far has told exactly that story. It is not wrong. It is also not complete, and the missing part may matter more than the headline figure. Gold: More Than a Safe-Haven Asset Gold has long been viewed as a hedge in times of economic uncertainty. But its real value goes far beyond that. For investors, gold is a strategic store of value, a portfolio diversifier, and an asset with enduring global demand. As industries continue to rely on precious metals, responsible investment across the gold value chain presents significant opportunities — especially in Africa. Africa holds some of the world’s richest gold deposits. Yet much of this potential remains underdeveloped. With the right combination of responsible mining, transparent supply chains, and strategic capital, we can unlock sustainable economic growth while creating long-term value for investors and local communities. At Africangoldseller, we believe successful investment starts with knowledge, strong partnerships, and a long-term perspective. Our focus is on bridging the gap between opportunity and capital, while promoting ethical practices across the mining sector. Question for the network: Are you investing only in gold, or are you investing in the future of the gold industry? What role do you believe gold should play in a modern investment portfolio? Let’s discuss below 👇 #Gold #GoldInvestment #Mining #Africa #Commodities #Investment #EconomicDevelopment #ResponsibleMining #SustainableMining #AfricaMining #PortfolioDiversification #Leadership #TambamaHoldings

In recent years, there has been a notable shift in the global gold trade, with many buyers now turning to Africa for long-term supply partnerships. Africa is one of the richest sources of gold globally, featuring established mining communities, growing refining capabilities, and increasing opportunities for direct engagement between buyers and genuine sellers. Today's serious buyers prioritize: ✔ Transparent business practices. ✔ Physical verification and testing before transactions. ✔ Consistent supply capacity. ✔ Clear export procedures and documentation. ✔ Long-term partnerships rather than one-off deals. Trust is built through transparency, which is why we encourage buyer participation in inspections, testing, and verification processes before shipment. Genuine business relationships are formed when both parties have confidence in the product and transaction process. Africa plays a vital role in the global precious metals market. Buyers who collaborate with reputable suppliers gain direct access to quality Au gold, competitive pricing structures, and reliable supply chains. The future of the gold trade lies in transparent, compliant, and professional partnerships built on mutual trust and verification. I welcome serious buyers, investors, refiners, and strategic partners interested in establishing long-term relationships within the African precious metals sector. #GoldTrading #AuGold #GoldBusiness #PreciousMetals #Mining #AfricaBusiness #CommodityTrading #GoldSupply #InternationalTrade #Investors #GoldBuyers #Bullion #BusinessDevelopment #AfricaMining #GoldIndustry

99% of gold deals fail before the price negotiation even starts 🥇 After 20 years in this industry, I can tell you one thing: the difference between a profitable deal and a failed one rarely comes down to the listed price. It comes down to: • A sharp reading of market cycles • The ability to secure a transaction in a volatile environment • The quality of the network between producers and investors • The rigor in structuring agreements At Kenosa International Minerals, this is exactly where we step in. We are not simple intermediaries. We are a bridge between on-the-ground operational reality and the strategic decisions of investors. Concretely, our role: → Advise on the gold trading strategies best suited to the current context → Manage risk in sometimes unpredictable markets → Connect international prospectors and investors with high-potential opportunities across Africa → Structure complex agreements for multimillion-dollar transactions A concrete example: recently, a mining infrastructure project linking African resources to Asian markets was entrusted to us, for an amount exceeding a hundred million dollars 💰. Without a precise reading of geopolitical risks and rigorous deal structuring, this type of deal never survives the market's first turbulences. What sets us apart is our positioning: we don't sell, we advise. Every decision is based on up-to-date market intelligence, not intuition 📊. Our ambition from Nairobi: to become the reference for mineral sourcing in East Africa, with a truly global reach 🌍. Gold remains a strategic asset. But it still needs to be handled with the right expertise. That's our job at Kenosa. Preparing a gold trading operation or a mining infrastructure project? Let's talk directly in DM, I reply to everyone 🤝 #GoldTrading #KenosaMinerals #InvestInGold #MiningInvestment #AfricanGold #PreciousMetals #GoldMarket2026 #WealthBuilding #MineralsAdvisory #Nairobi

🇳🇿 There isn't just one way New Zealand could rebuild official gold reserves. Many people assume it would require a single multi-billion-dollar purchase on international markets. In reality, several different approaches are theoretically possible. • Purchasing gold internationally • Buying directly from domestic producers • Using mining royalties to gradually accumulate gold • Converting a small portion of existing foreign currency reserves Each approach involves different economic, political and practical trade-offs. Our latest infographic summarises these options, while the accompanying article explores the strengths and weaknesses of each. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gpWTsGw3 I'd be interested to hear which approach you think would be the most practical.

GoldBod’s New LBMA-Based Gold Pricing Framework: A Major Step Forward for Ghana’s Gold Market The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has introduced a new gold pricing and booking framework aligned with the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) pricing methodology. This is a significant development for Ghana’s artisanal and small-scale gold (ASM) sector, bringing greater transparency, consistency and international confidence to gold trading. What’s changing? From 1 July 2026, GoldBod now publishes two official gold purchase prices each trading day, based on the globally recognised: 🔸 LBMA AM Gold Price 🔸 LBMA PM Gold Price Rather than using continuously fluctuating live market prices, transactions are now linked to internationally accepted benchmark prices used throughout the global bullion market. In addition, all licensed buyers are now required to book transactions in real time within designated pricing windows, creating a more transparent and auditable trading process. Why does this matter? The new framework is expected to: ✔ Improve pricing transparency ✔ Increase consistency across gold purchases ✔ Strengthen governance and accountability ✔ Enhance confidence among international refiners, banks and institutional buyers ✔ Further integrate Ghana into the global precious metals market For international buyers, the use of LBMA benchmark pricing provides greater pricing certainty, improved transaction documentation and a clearer audit trail—making cross-border trading more efficient and compliant. Our Perspective At Crown Aurum Ltd, we welcome initiatives that promote transparency, responsible sourcing and alignment with internationally recognised market standards. As a UK-based precious metals trading company, we believe this move will support: • More transparent commercial negotiations • Improved transaction documentation • Greater confidence for international buyers and suppliers • Stronger opportunities for responsible cross-border gold trading GoldBod’s adoption of LBMA pricing represents another important step in strengthening Ghana’s position within the global precious metals industry. We look forward to supporting our suppliers, buyers and commercial partners as these positive developments continue to shape the market. #Gold #GoldTrading #LBMA #PreciousMetals #ResponsibleSourcing #Mining #Ghana #Bullion #InternationalTrade #CommodityMarkets #CrownAurum

Gold continues to prove why it remains one of the world's most strategic assets. Recent reports suggest that Bank of America expects gold could reach $6,000 per ounce within the next 12 months. If that outlook materializes, it would reinforce gold's role as a store of value during periods of economic uncertainty. For those of us working in the gold mining, refining, and trading industry, this is more than a price prediction—it highlights the importance of building transparent, compliant, and efficient supply chains. East Africa is home to significant gold resources, presenting opportunities for: Responsible mining and production Investment in refining and value addition International partnerships Ethical sourcing with full traceability Strong connections to global markets such as the UAE and Qatar As demand for responsibly sourced precious metals grows, businesses that prioritize compliance, transparency, and long-term partnerships will be best positioned to succeed. What are your thoughts? Could we see gold reach $6,000 per ounce, or do you expect a more moderate move? #Gold #Mining #Investment #Commodities #PreciousMetals #Africa #EastAfrica #UAE #Qatar #GoldTrading #ResponsibleMining #BusinessGrowth #GlobalTrade.
