Timberland’s Post

We’re proud to continue our work with Partnerships for Parks—helping to care for neighborhood parks and green spaces across New York City through the power of volunteerism. This week, we rolled up our sleeves at Nostrand Playground in Brooklyn—clearing weeds and debris after a long winter, planting ecologically beneficial plants, and connecting with 4th graders from PS 269 through games and hands-on learning. Each student also went home some new Timberland gear! Through Timberland’s Path of Service program, employees receive up to 40 hours of paid time each year to serve their communities—making days like this possible. Similar events are taking place around the world this spring as we celebrate Earth Day—because when we pull our boots on together, small acts can make a lasting impact.
