Celebrating Rob Mitchell: 8 Years Strong – Family First, Whistle Forever In 2018, despite zero car wash experience, Whistle founders Brooks Moye and Frank Bennett hired Rob as Site Manager for their new Jacksonville location. He built and ran it for three years (later the San Jose site). Now our longest-tenured team member, his key achievements include: 🔵 Building/running the Jacksonville site from scratch 🔵 Launching our first training crew 🔵 Overseeing all new builds & acquisitions 🔵 Rising to Sr. Director of Capital Projects Above all, Rob is a devoted family man. He’s currently providing unwavering support to his wife Mihana as she fights Stage 2 breast cancer—all while working full-time at the University of North Florida (where she earned her PhD in Philosophy). Together, they balance demanding careers and cheer on their brilliant 17-year-old daughter, Ocean, a high school junior.
