Congratulations to the 2026 Renée Fleming Neuroarts Investigator Awards recipients! From music to movement to storytelling and filmmaking, these 10 teams of artists and early career researchers are receiving grants to support unique and innovative research projects looking at diverse art forms and scientific disciplines to address significant health and wellbeing issues. Established by Renée Fleming, acclaimed soprano, through her Foundation in 2024, the awards program is administered through the NeuroArts Blueprint Initiative, a partnership between The Johns Hopkins University and The Aspen Institute.
To date, the program has funded 26 research teams conducting interdisciplinary research projects with unique methods whose results are making important contributions to the growing body of scientific evidence underpinning the field of neuroarts.
