  • Is your vacuum system just a utility or is it capable of bringing stability into your process? The GEA CombiJetStar is. Our hybrid vacuum system combines a liquid jet vacuum pump with a steam ejector to generate vacuum in critical areas, especially where corrosive, dirty or ATEX-sensitive conditions make other solutions less suitable. What makes this approach effective is its simplicity: it combines two proven technologies in one robust system. For batch operations and demanding chemical processes, this can mean reliable vacuum performance where condensable media must be removed efficiently. Jet-pump-based vacuum systems have no moving parts, which helps reduce wear and maintenance while supporting long operating life. And because they can be adapted to applications such as distillation, degassing, deodorizing, and drying, they remain highly versatile across industries. Want to know more? • Thank you for having us Textiles Recycling Expo —we had a blast! After two days in Brussels one message came through loud and clear: textile recycling 👗♻ is no longer a future ambition, it is already here and quickly moving from momentum to scale. The whole value chain reunited in one place, from collectors to sorters and recyclers to producers without forgetting technology provicers and policymakers. The collective drive towards true textile-to-textile circularity was palpable and it dripped into every conversation. Our colleagues Laurent Palierne, Pieter Van Den Steen and Aniss ZENATI confirmed: our process expertise is truly relevant for the next phase of textile recycling 🚀 In PET and polycotton recycling, we support key steps such as solid/liquid separation for washwater purification, purification of monomers before repolymerization and the valorization of coproducts like MEG and sodium sulfate. These are the building blocks that help turn complex textile waste streams into high-quality recycled material. Our takeaway? the circular textile economy is being shaped as we type and we are proud to contribute our technology and expertise to that journey. See you next time!

GEA launches meVap® family to electrify industrial heat and accelerate decarbonization In industrial plants, the biggest climate gains are often hidden in plain sight. Behind every evaporation step, every distillation column and every crystallization line lies a constant demand for heat — and with it, a major opportunity to cut emissions. With the launch of the GEA meVap® family, GEA is turning that opportunity into a practical, process-integrated route toward decarbonization. LEARN MORE https://lnkd.in/euFF8wUD @303117123129447

  • Not many start their onboarding when they are 1 year olds 👀 but Sascha Schumacher, our Senior Director CLS & Service, kind of did and he’s still going strong after 23 years of official career. Join us as he shares what his work is like, what he likes about it and what makes GEA a great place to work recognized by the Top Employers Institute in 9 different countries across 3 continents.

  • Industrial production runs on large amounts of energy. ⚡ In many plants, too much of that energy is wasted. Heat escapes unrecovered. 🌡️ Processes designed long ago still run the way they were first set up. Equipment operates below its potential. Data exists but nobody uses it to improve the process. For producers in food, beverage and pharma – industries full of energy-intensive processes – such waste is becoming harder to accept. After all, energy costs are rising, climate requirements are tightening and existing plants need to stay competitive. But the answer is rarely as simple as adding one new machine or one retrofit. At GEA, we believe that it takes better thinking before a plant is built or upgraded. It takes better engineering during implementation. And better performance over the full lifecycle. Think better. Build better. Run better. That is GEA’s Better Journey – and that is how we help our customers measurably lower their energy consumption: through process expertise, energy-efficient technologies, digital tools and lifecycle service. ♻️✅ 🎬 Watch the video. #engineeringforabetterworld #energyefficiency #BetterJourney

  • Thank you to The Net-Zero Circle for having us at the 3rd Brazil Lithium & Critical Minerals Summit 2026 —we spent 2 days surrounded by industry leaders and innovators exploring how Brazil can unlock its potential while ensuring sustainable and efficient resource development and we were thrilled to be part of the conversation! Our colleagues Aniss ZENATI and Renato Martins fostered valuable exchanges with key players across the value chain and sparked promising collaborations. One message stood out: turning mineral resources into battery-grade materials 🔋 requires advanced process technologies and strong partnerships. We are here to deliver thanks to our expertise in purification, evaporation, crystallization, ZLD, gas cleaning and carbon capture. GEA is the key partner for all those looking to icrease efficiency and environmental responsibiliy amidst critical mineral processing, helping optimize yield, reduce environmental impact and meet stringent quality standards. • What do you do when your quench system becomes your plant’s weakest link? You call GEA ☎ Our customer, a leading animal feed producer 🐕 in France, faced exactly this problem: 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱, 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. In late 2024 they turned to us to replace the entire quench system -the catch? It had to be with minimal production disruption. In just 7 months, we answered with a fully engineered solution built on precise simulation and smart design. 𝗔𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵, 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭,𝟮𝟱𝟬 °𝗖 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝟲𝟬 °𝗖 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝟯𝗗 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. Despite these temperatures, we supplied the quench in FRP, thanks to our own high temperature 🌡 solution for such demanding applications. In operation, you can almost watch the process at work: the hot gas enters so energetically that it looks as if the quench itself is glowing 🚨 At the same time, our design cuts the required recirculating liquid to one third of the original demand, while maintaining full cooling performance for gas flows up to 8,000 m³/h and safely treating HCl laden gas. We are proud of this achievement that delivers higher energy efficiency and significantly lower operating costs – turning a weak point in the plant into a robust advantage 🎯
