About us

hecoos is a powerful platform built for complex productions, integrating video playback, lighting pre-programming, interactive experiences, mechatronic control, and virtual production. With hecoos, the project you design is the show you run. It provides a unified environment where previsualization and live control exist on the same platform. Make creative decisions with confidence before going live. Adapt in real time. Reduced risk, increased precision, even in the most technically demanding scenarios. Every visionary project needs a partner who speaks the language of both art and engineering. That’s where hecoos comes in. Hecoos bridges the gap between your idea and the technical execution required to build it. In the past 7 years, hecoos has delivered hundreds of projects worldwide, including the Beijing 2022 Olympic Opening Ceremony. That is the commitment we bring to every frame, and to every future stage. 📘https://www.facebook.com/hecoos2018 📷https://www.instagram.com/hecoos2018/ ▶️https://www.youtube.com/@hecoos

  • Calibrating 19 projectors across a dome on site takes time. Getting the previsualization right first takes less. For this immersive experience at Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, hecoos handled the full spherical mapping workflow across a 400㎡ dome space with a 9-metre ceiling height. 3 hecoos servers ran in a one-to-two output configuration, delivering 19 channels of 2K signal simultaneously. Before on-site calibration began, the production team previsualized the animation by projecting it onto a sphere model within hecoos, validating playback balance and image distribution across the full surface. Once the previsualization was confirmed, hecoos's spherical mapping function assisted the physical grid calibration, using projection back-calculation to precisely determine the position of each of the 19 projectors and complete edge blending across the dome. Since opening in May 2021, the venue has welcomed over 100,000 visitors and continues to run daily. #hecoos #projectionmapping #dometheater #immersiveexperience

  • Immersive art can take many forms. At this 2,500㎡ digital art exhibition, hecoos supported three centrepiece installations, each exploring immersion through a distinct spatial logic. Why the Yangtze River at Jiangsu Grand Theatre brings together 16 artists to reinterpret the culture and history of the Yangtze through immersive digital works. Each of the three hecoos-supported pieces approaches audience experience from a different angle: - Horizon Flow (pic 1, 2): extends visuals across both vertical and ground-level surfaces with 15 projectors and one LED screen, surrounding the viewer from multiple directions. 3 hecoos servers managed output across that range of surface types to create one coherent image. - 2012 Generation and Diffusion (pic 3): maps five projectors onto a long curved LED screen whose wave-like form echoes the flowing woodblock textures projected onto it, with hecoos maintaining precise alignment across the curved surface. - Resonance (pic 4): places the audience at the centre of six surrounding screens. hecoos held six separate channels of content in sync. Three distinct and inspiring spatial and visual languages. hecoos delivered consistent, high-fidelity output across all of them. #hecoos #ImmersiveExperience #immersiveart #CreativeTech

We’re back from a great week of collaboration at InfoComm Las Vegas. It's always inspiring to connect with partners, and it was a great opportunity to show our technology in action. Over at the YesTech booth, our Chief US Representative, Quency Weng, broke down how the Hirender system served as a technical backbone for the 2022 Winter Olympics. It was a privilege to share our insights with the InfoComm audience, and discuss the real-world challenges of high-scale playback control. Sincere thanks to our partners for hosting us, and to everyone who stopped by. For those who missed the session, we will release a comprehensive breakdown of the Olympic case study in the coming weeks. Until next year. • Shanghai United Media Group's talk show programme recently went live with a virtual production setup powered by hecoos xR/VP, which handled green screen keying and real-time compositing throughout the broadcast. Live broadcast virtual production leaves no room for error. hecoos xR/VP maintained real-time spatial synchronization across two camera positions, ensuring that switching between angles mid-broadcast kept the virtual background perspective consistent and seamless. Hair-level keying quality held up even in close-up shots where edge detail is most exposed. The system ran continuously throughout the full broadcast without stuttering, compositing breakdown, or visible seams between talent and virtual background. #hecoos #broadcastsolutions #BroadcastTechnology #XR #virtualproduction #greenscreenvideo

Al Rajhi Bank's Nera App commercial features two scenes shot using hecoos xR/VP, bringing virtual production into its brand campaign. The setup was lean: one camera, OptiTrack for camera tracking, and an LED volume running at 6,144×1,920 resolution. hecoos xR/VP handled real-time compositing with one compositing server and one rendering server, keeping the virtual environment locked to the camera throughout the scene. Virtual production is increasingly finding its way into brand and commercial work. This is a good example of what a focused setup can deliver for a client that needs high-quality xR for just a couple of scenes without a large on-set footprint. Two virtual camera positions extended the visual range of the broadcast, giving directors the flexibility to frame each new car reveal as the scene demanded. Through virtual production, the annual automotive launch event expanded far beyond the limits of a physical stage. Rather than taking the production to multiple locations, the locations were rendered inside the studio, giving audiences a chance to see each new car in a fully realized, real-world context, without the logistical cost of shooting on location. #hecoos #virtualproduction #LiveBroadcasting #eventtech #broadcastsolutions

For the 19th Asian Games, hecoos xR supported the online studio broadcast from opening to closing ceremony, sustaining real-time xR across 16 days of daily live coverage. Two hecoos servers powered the setup, with the rendering server passing real-time footage to the compositing server, which output two channels of 4K signal to the LED screen and one composited virtual crane shot to the director's desk. A virtual tracking crane arm enabled seamless switching between close-up talent shots and wide virtual environments, giving the broadcast a visual range that a conventional studio setup could not match. Unlike pre-recorded shoots where you can stop, adjust, and reshoot, live broadcast has zero tolerance for error. hecoos delivered. #hecoos #virtualproduction #Livebroadcasting #broadcastmedia

The project features a 17-meter diameter dome screen, with 3 hecoos servers in a one-to-two output configuration driving 19 projectors across the spherical surface. It creates a fully immersive visual environment, giving visitors the sense of being inside the history rather than looking at it from the outside. Dome projection at this scale can eat significant time if done manually. hecoos's Auto Blending feature handles that automatically, using algorithms and camera-based detection to align and blend every projector on the dome surface. Shenzhen Media Group's Studio 800 has received an virtual production update from hecoos. Across the studio, 6 channels of 4K LED screens are driven by hecoos xR/VP. The setup allows rendering devices to operate independently for improved efficiency and stable visual output. Signal transmission runs on the ST2110 protocol over a 100G local network, delivering lossless signal transfer to all display devices.
