  • #PVCellTech USA is the must-attend event for solar manufacturing professionals, now in its 4th year of bringing together the key stakeholders in PV manufacturing across the entire value chain, from polysilicon to modules. Join us in October to understand the technologies, innovations and strategic decisions that will shape the next generation of American solar manufacturing. Here’s what some of last year's participants have said:   PV CellTech USA, to me, is the premier event in North America bringing together companies in the PV manufacturing ecosystem to discuss progress, issues, and opportunities to assure successful restoring to the entire PV value chain. Markus Beck, RCT Solutions   This is a great event for companies and labs associated with PV cells: either upstream (wafer/poly) or downstream(module/installer). Unlike the RE+ with 50K+ people you get to know the real 'movers and shakers' in the US solar supply chain from policy experts, R&D, manufacturers, new technologies, and finance. It's a great way to get a comprehensive update on the state of the industry and to have time to make real connections.  Jonathan Pickering, NexWafe   It is always a pleasure to attend PV CellTech USA. Not just that the network can be maintained and expanded, but also the content of the presentations and panel discussions also provides an in-depth analysis of the current challenges facing the US manufacturing environment. Michael Vees, RENA Technologies GmbH   PV CellTech was a great meeting of the minds where the forefront of cell technology was showcased and discussed. Conferences like these are important in moving the industry forward by promoting important new trends and technologies to ensure industry alignment and preparedness for adoption. United States trade policy has not only reshaped where solar products can be imported from; it has also fundamentally altered how solar module manufacturers and developers must think about PV cell procurement. With more than 92% of global PV module manufacturing capacity now facing some form of restriction on entry into the US market, the question confronting buyers is no longer simply where cells are made, but who owns the manufacturer, how the entity is structured and, increasingly, what technology it uses. In this environment, a tiered framework developed by PV Tech Research for understanding the US solar cell supply has become an essential navigation tool.
