Abstract
Fading channel modeling is generally defined as the variation of the attenuation of a signal with various variables. Time, geographical position, and radio frequency which is included. Fading is often modeled as a random process. Thus, a fading channel is a communication channel that experiences fading. In this paper, the proposed system presents a new design and simulate a wireless channel using Rayleigh channels. Rayleigh channels using two approaches (flat and frequency-selective fading channels) in order to calculate some path space loss efforts and analysis the performance of different wireless fading channel modeling. The results show that the bite error rate (BER) performance is dramatically improved in the value of signal to noise ratio (SNR) is equal to 45dB. Finally, the experimental results show that the proposed method enhances the performance of fading channel modeling by reducing the error of BER when the SNR is reduced also. Moreover, the more accurate model is Rayleigh model which can be considered for developing fading channel model. 1. INTRODUCTION Many services of the wireless industry have provided for the users by developing and deploying an infrastructure. The technological infrastructure such as design, production and deployment may more expensive thereby manufacturers looking for different alternatives in order to avoid the high costs. A simulation of a real wireless system is one of these alternatives. The pros of simulation which is allowed to less expensive testing of designs. This paper has simulated and tested fading channel modeling for wireless communication. The Rayleigh fading is considered a good approximation of realistic channel conditions because a receiver is in motion relative to a transmitter with no line-of-sight path between their antennas for the wireless transmission system [1]. This paper first addresses the problem of enhancing the performance of fading channel modeling by reducing the error BER as well as reducing the error of SNR for fading channel simulation model. These errors are reduced by used Rayleigh fading channel. The use of it by using two different approaches (flat and selecting fading) to loss the efforts and analysis the performance of different wireless fading channel modeling.

The objective of this paper is to analyze slow, flat, Rayleigh fading channels in modern digital communication systems having different coherent modulation techniques. Most of the packages can only be used to analyze analog communication systems, but modern systems are, increasingly, digital. Improved many-on-many (IMOM) is a two-dimensional, graphical-oriented, radio frequency modeling tool is used to determine probability of channel bit error rather than information bit error, which allows generic solutions independent of the specifics of the system under investigation as long as the particular modulation type is known. Constellation diagram of various modulation techniques, power of faded signal and signal at receiver are plotted in MATLAB environment. The Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) is suitable example of this analysis.

In the Wireless Communication, the multipath effects, Doppler shift, and power loss, causing by the dissemination environment, have always effected the high speed transportation of the data. On the other hand, the complexity and randomness of the wireless communication environment itself have also made the study of the wireless channel's simulation model very difficult. The Jakes model is an ideal simulation model of small-scale Rayleigh flat fading channels, and it can be realized by the superimposition of the limited LFO (low frequency oscillators). So, by the simulation of Doppler shift, the analysis of the multipath effects and taking the advantages of the Jakes model, we designed an ideal small-scale Rayleigh flat fading channel block on the SCILAB. The development of this block has not only improved the communication simulation library of the SCILAB, but also provided an effective environment of the channel for the closed-loop test of the wireless communication system. Meanwhile, the application of this channel block has also provided a reference platform for the test and construction of the wireless communication simulation system.
Fading is caused by reflection, diffraction and scattering of transmitted signal so that multiple copies of the signal with varying delays can be received at the receiver with different phases. We have evaluated the performance of transmission modes by calculating the probability of Bit Error Rate (BER) versus the Signal Noise Ratio (SNR) under the various wireless channel models i.e. Gaussian, Rayleigh, Rician and Nakagami. We consider the data modulation and data rate to analyze the performance that is BER vs. SNR. We also consider multipath received signals. The simulation results had shown the performance of transmission modes under different fading channel models. Based on simulation results, we observed that some transmission modes are not efficient for digital communication.

A new statistical sum-of-sinusoids simulation model is proposed for mobile-to-mobile Rayleigh fading channels and compared with existing simulation models. The new proposed model has a lower variance of the auto-correlation functions, i.e., it converges faster and has a lower correlation between the inphase and quadrature components of the complex faded envelope than existing simulation models. This model yields adequate statistics with only 30 simulation runs.

When the mechanisms of fading channels were first modeled in the 1950s and 1960s, the ideas were primarily applied to over-the-horizon communications covering a wide range of frequency bands. The 3-30 MHz high-frequency (HF) band is used for ionospheric communications, and the 300 MHz-3 GHz ultra-high-frequency (UHF) and 3-30 GHz super-high-frequency (SHF) bands are used for tropospheric scatter. Although the fading effects in a mobile radio system are somewhat different than those in ionospheric and tropospheric channels, the early models are still quite useful to help characterize fading effects in mobile digital communication systems. This tutorial addresses Rayleigh fading primarily in the UHF band. That affects mobile systems such as cellular and personal communication systems (PCS). Part I of the tutorial itemizes the fundamental fading manifestations and types of degradation

An effort has been made to illustrate the performance comparison of the Rayleigh, Rician and Nakagami fading channel models by using MATLAB implementation in terms of source velocity and number of multiple paths. Algorithms for the Rayleigh, Rician and Nakagami-m fading channels have been developed, which computes the envelope and pdf. The parameters such as source velocity and pdf play a very important role in the performance analysis and design of the digital communication systems over the multipath fading environment.

In this paper, new sum-of-sinusoids statistical simulation models are proposed for Rayleigh fading channels. These new models employ random path gain, random initial phase, and conditional random Doppler frequency for all individual sinusoids. It is shown that the autocorrelations and cross correlations of the quadrature components, and the autocorrelation of the complex envelope of the new simulators match the desired ones exactly, even if the number of sinusoids is as small as a single-digit integer. Moreover, the probability density functions of the envelope and phase, the level crossing rate, the average fade duration, and the autocorrelation of the squared fading envelope which contains fourthorder statistics of the new simulators, asymptotically approach the correct ones as the number of sinusoids approaches infinity, while good convergence is achieved even when the number of sinusoids is as small as eight. The new simulators can be directly used to generate multiple uncorrelated fading waveforms for frequency selective fading channels, multiple-input multiple-output channels, and diversity combining scenarios. Statistical properties of one of the new simulators are evaluated by numerical results, finding good agreements.

Multipath fading is phenomena that may cause attenuation and distortion to the transmitted signal. The signal transmitted may be diffracted, refracted or reflected over a spread of times from obstacles such as ground, hills, building that are located in the transmission path between the transmitter and receiver sides. Multipath fading, therefore, needs to be taken into consideration when designing wireless radio communication systems. This study presents the key characteristics and simulation modelling for various types of fading channels in the wireless transmission system. Besides, an effort has been made to illustrate the performance comparison of different types of small-scale fading that are subjected to due to multipath delay spread in time and a movement of mobility. The simulations of small-scale fading over the wireless channel that are dependent on Doppler spread and delay spread were determined using communication toolbox in MATLAB.

In this paper, extensive computations are conducted to assess the performance of five of the most accepted sum-of-sinusoids (SOS) simulation models for Rayleigh fading channels in terms of both accuracy and complexity. The statistical properties of first-, second-and higherorder are investigated using appropriate quantitative measures. This study is carried out for various numbers of sinusoids in order to find the better trade-off between complexity and accuracy. Moreover, for the correlation statistics, different numbers of simulation trials are used to better conclude about the ergodicity property of the different models. Numerical results demonstrate that, a recently introduced non-ergodic stochastic model exhibits a "likely-ergodic" behavior and its correlation functions vary little over the simulation trials. The variances of the time-averaged correlation functions are used to investigate the convergence behavior of the stochastic non-ergodic models. In this connection, analytical expressions of the variances of these functions are derived and compared with the simulated ones. In addition, the accuracy of the models is inspected through the mean and variance of the level crossing rate (LCR) and the average fade duration (AFD) relative errors.
