Geographically, Nyama Yang Hamlet is located on Moa Island, Southwest Maluku Regency, which has very rich natural resource potential, with the potential for coconut plantations. The right skills training can help increase productivity and create jobs. Answering these problems, the main purpose of this community service activity is to provide education and knowledge to the public about the benefits and process of making VCO. This service activity uses a descriptive method whose implementation begins with a preliminary study, mentoring and guidance, processing and production training, marketing, promotion, and evaluation using pretest and posttest to assess program effectiveness. The results of the questionnaire showed that 20 Nyama hamlet residents who participated in the training activities did not know how to process VCO. 3 people or 15% of residents do not know the benefits of VCO. However, after the activity ended, the results of the questionnaire showed that 100% of the residents of Nyama Hamlet were skilled in processing VCO and understood the various benefits of VCO both in daily life and having a high selling value.

This study measures the relationship between organizational performance and financial management practices like capital structure decision, dividend policy, investment appraisal techniques, working capital management and financial performance assessment in Pakistani corporate sector. Sample of the study consisted of forty companies operating in Pakistan, related to different sectors and listed at Karachi Stock Exchange. The finance executives and financial analysts of the companies responded to questionnaire that identified through company profiles and references. The questionnaires were self administered to collect the data from respondents. The results show a positive and significant relationship between financial management practices and organizational performance in Pakistani corporate sector.

Purpose -Nepotism is an old social phenomenon that exists in many societies. It was associated with the human need to secure the requirements of their life and improve their social life. Nepotism is the practice between those with control of favoring relatives or friends, by providing them specific jobs. This research aims at understanding the impact of nepotism on employees" perceptions in tourism and hospitality industry. Design -This study used cause-effect model (Ishikawa diagram) to investigate employees" perceptions towards nepotism in tourism and hospitality industry. The conceptual framework is used as a tool to structure the layout of the analysis. This led to the development of a model for the perceptions of employees towards nepotism in tourism and hospitality industry. Methodology -This research used a qualitative analysis with purposive sampling technique. Interviews with human resource managers in selected hotels and travel agencies in Egypt were implemented.Findings -The main finding is nepotism has major negative impacts on employees in tourism and hospitality industry as it affects job satisfaction, job stress, job commitment, tourism and hospitality organizational citizenship, performance and employee"s turnover. Finally, this research provides some recommendations and managerial implications to investors and managers in tourism and hospitality industry in order to overcome the nepotism.

The tourist supply of every country longs for peculiar quality and identifiability. The typical foodstuffs are one of the climate, cultural inheritance and traditions of a country. In this paper, the authors first explain the definitions and procedures designed by international regulations concerning typical foodstuffs with controlled denomination of origin. The authors have investigated the interests and the opinions of tourists and subjects in trade and catering, about typical foodstuffs from Istria. By comparing the regulations, it was concluded that Croatian regulations do not follow the trends in West-European countries. The research results show that foreign tourists are very interested in typical istrian foodstuffs. However, their interest is lessened because those products are relatively expensive and have no guaranty of quality and origin.

Given the constraints of the study, the considerations are summary and selective and constitute an attempt at highlighting the key elements of the issue referred to in the study title. The study is a theoretical refl ection. By analysing the nature of marketing communication as a company's dialogue with the market, it fi nds a theoretical justifi cation: confi rmation of the main thesis concerning the broader and deeper functions of communication in value marketing. The essential functions of marketing communication lend themselves to a broader than hitherto presentation as a task revolving around creating and integrating value. Communication by nature provides information about the offer of the company and its values (as in the traditional sense) and also it creates these values. Its major task involves integration around value, both internally within the structure of the marketing mix, and externally in the relationship between the company and the market, the company's environment. RESULTS: The QALY per year for warfarin was 0.21 and for DOACs ranged from 0.21e0.25. It is predicted that over the next 5 years, spending on anticoagulants will increase by more than 100%, achieving a 44% population health gain. The market share of DOACs is expected to increase during this time. However, due to the similar QALYs per year for all anticoagulant drugs, to achieve this health gain without increased cost, the price of DOACs would need to be lowered by 29%. Without this decrease, quality lifetime gain per £1 will fall from 4 h 5 mins to 2 h 55 mins. In 2018/19, market shares for warfarin and DOACs are 26% (~242,100 patients) and 74% (~703,000 patients), with associated total spending of ~£69 million and ~£470 million, respectively. If the 29% reduction were immediately applied, it would yield a ~£135 million cost reduction for the NHS. CONCLUSIONS: Projected increases in DOAC prescribing will significantly impact expenditure for the NHS, with minimal quality-adjusted lifetime gains. Price adjustments are needed to ensure that increased spending on anticoagulant therapies can achieve the highest possible population health gains.

Governments in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, have committed to 'net zero' carbon emissions targets by mid-century, driven by the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The 'net zero' regime is ethically and theologically indefensible on several grounds. First, contemporary atmospheric data, and historic paleoclimate data, on carbon dioxide (CO₂) do not support the claim that human CO₂ emissions are the driver of Earth temperature increases since 1870. Second, the practical consequences of net zero policies in Indonesia-rising energy costs, deforestation of Borneo for biofuel cultivation, and constraints on fossil fuel expansion in a nation where two hundred and eighty million people depend on affordable energy for health and welfare-inflict demonstrable harms on present generations, and ecosystems, for the sake of unproven benefits for future generations. Third, Islamic and Christian theological traditions offer compelling grounds for resisting policies built on what, following Bruno Latour, is a 'factish': the socially constructed scientific belief that Earth's temperature is a function of human CO₂ emissions, the authority of which derives from institutional power rather than empirical evidence. A theologically grounded environmental ethics appropriate to Indonesia will be oriented toward ameliorating regional ecological harms-especially deforestation, biodiversity loss, and smoke pollution-and caring for the health and welfare of our fellow humans and creatures rather than toward energy rationing based on a Western atmospheric theory with scientifically contested empirical foundations.

JCI price volatility shows risk and uncertainty in investing. Volatility is used as a barometer to determine portfolio management strategies for financial actors. Therefore, financial actors should find a strategy to be able to predict JCI price movements to reduce risks and gain profits. Gulo puan is one of the indigenous cuisines from the district of Pampangan, Regency of Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI), South Sumatra. Gulo means sugar and Puan means milk. Gulo Puan is made from sugar and caramel milk. The milk used in making gulo puan is from swamp buffalo. Gulo puan is very popular in several regions in South Sumatra. However, not many people are familiar with gulo puan like other typical South Sumatra cuisines. The team from the Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM) carried out a Stimulus Community Partnership Program activity funded by the Ministry of Technology, Research and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia in order to provide solutions to the target partners namely Gulo Puan Business group in Bangsal Village by implementing the Marketing Mix. Improving product quality is conducted through making logos and product packaging labels, using stand pouch packaging and plastic jars, and fascinating innovation in the form of gulo puan candy products (Puan Candy). Promotion and distribution channels are increased by marketing the products through e-commerce to reach consumers widely and bypassing distribution channels, while an increase in price stays is conducted by providing products with various weight variations, ranging from 100 grams to 1000 grams. Based on the results of the analysis, it could be stated that the product, price, promotion and location or place (distribution channel) of consumer loyalty in re-buying gulo puan products could be seen from all the significance values of the independent variables that is less than 0.05.

Di era pandemic saat ini, metode pembelajaran mengalami perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Hal ini terjadi karena pemberlakukan pembatasan aktivitas dan berkumpul bagi peserta belajar. Kejadian ini mengakibatkan metode pembelajaran menggunakan daring (online) dimana siswa dapat tetap belajar dari rumah. Tuntutan inilah yang menjadikan para pengajar yaitu guru harus memiliki kemampuan dalam akses dan memanfaatkan internet serta kreatif dalam membuat konten materi pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, SMP Negeri 30 Palembang, menyelenggarakan kegiatan workshop membuat dan mengunggah video pembelajaran pada Youtube Channel, guna memberikan peningkatan pengalaman para guru sebagai bentuk materi pembelajaran secara daring. E-filing merupakan bentuk penerapan sistem Modul Penerimaan Negara Generasi Kedua (MPN G2) yang mulai diterapkan pada tahun 2007. Sistem tersebut telah memanfaatkan billing dan surat elektronik sebagai bagian transaksi, namun masih terpisah dengan situs resmi Direktorat Jendral Pajak (DJP). Desa Bangsal merupakan salah satu desa penghasil susu kerbau rawa. Masyarakat Desa Bangsal lebih mengenalnya dengan istilah puan. Puan selain dikonsumsi secara langsung, juga dapat diolah menjadi berbagai produk makanan. Kelompok Usaha Desa Bangsal yang merupakan mitra kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) mengolah puan menjadi makanan khas, diantaranya gulo puan, sagon puan dan tapel puan. Pada Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Stimulus (PKMS) sebelumnya tim fokus pada satu produk saja yaitu gulo puan dan berhasil membuat inovasi produk berupa permen caramel (Puan Candy). Kegiatan PKMS memberikan dampak positif, sehingga mitra menginginkan kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan untuk produk mereka yang lain dikarenakan masyarakat luas kurang mengenal olahan puan lainya. Pada kegiatan PKM yang kembali didanai oleh Kementrian Riset dan Teknologi-Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (Ristek-Brin), tim pelaksana menawarkan solusi permasalahan berupa pelatihan, workshop serta pembinaan kepada mitra terkait penciptaaan citra produk dengan meningkatkan kualitas produk serta menghasilkan jenis produk minuman fermentasi (Puan Yogurt) sebagai variasi produk. Produk minuman dipilih agar mitra memiliki pengetahuan serta keterampilan baru dalam mengolah puan tidak hanya berupa produk makanan saja. Setelah kegiatan PKM terlaksana, tim melakukan evaluasi melalui pemberian kuisioner. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul dari mitra, demografinya adalah 25% berusia <50 tahun dan 75%nya berusia >50 tahun. Sedangkan berdasarkan jenjang pendidikanya 13% berpendidikan S1, 50% SMP dan 37% SD. Respon mitra menunjukkan setuju dan sangat setuju dengan adanya pelatihan pengemasan dan workshop pembuatan minuman fermentasi. Selain itu, mitra juga menyatakan mampu menggunakan alat pengemasan secara baik serta mampu membuat inovasi produk puan berupa minuman fermentasi.

Gulo puan merupakan salah satu makanan khas dari kecamatan Pampangan Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Sumatera Selatan. Gulo yang berarti gula dan puan yang berarti susu. Gulo Puan adalah makanan yang terbuat dari gula dan susu yang diolah menjadi karamel. Susu yang digunakan dalam pembuatan gulo puan adalah susu kerbau rawa. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak masyarakat kecamatan Pampangan OKI beternak kerbau rawa. Gulo puan sudah dikenal dibeberapa wilayah Sumatera Selatan. The Gulo Puan Business Group, Bangsal village, Pampangan sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir district, is a producer of products in the form of gulo-puan, sagon-puan and tapelpuan. After the implementation of the PKMS activity, a product innovation in the form of Mrs. Candy was obtained, while in the PKM activity, a product innovation in the form of Mrs. yogurt was obtained. Based on this, partners have been able to compete with similar business actors because they already have a variety of product variants, both in the form of food and beverages. However, this certainly needs to be strengthened again by utilizing technology to introduce products to the wider community. Social advertising is a promotional media that is carried out through social media. This promotional media is considered far more effective, efficient and on target compared to conventional promotional media such as flyers, banners and so on. Partners in PKMS activities have been able to utilize social media as a marketing medium. Therefore, in PKM activities, the implementing team provides training on the use of social advertising as a promotional media for women's products produced by partners. Based on the results of social advertising that has been done 5 times, the results show that as many as 96,212 accounts were successfully reached, of which 98.2% were not followers of accounts with demographics 48.2% male and 51.8% female. As many as 55% of the target to open a profile from Mrs. Candy and from a total of 4,018 accounts that liked ads were obtained.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap nasabah dalam memilih bank syariah yaitu teknologi, motif religius, dan kualitas layanan.Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument untuk mengumpulkan data.Kuesioner dibagikan kepada nasabah aktif bank syariah di Kota Semarang yang terdiri dari 100 responden.Data dianalisa menggunakan validitas dan reliabilitas untuk mengevaluasi kuesioner dan menggunakan regresi linier untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dari variabel tersebut.Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa teknologi, motif religius, dan kualitas layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nasabah dalam memilih bank syariah.

Key performance indicators usually are long-term considerations for an organization.In general, this research was done to reveal the key performance indicators for developing of integrated tuna fishing in North Sulawesi and especially to get the clear measurement and also to give the information for government to make regulation. This research is based on focus group discussion (FGD) method with qualitative approach. The focus group is the group that discussed the specifically and structure case and has procedure and time frame. The indicators consist of economic, financial social, ecological and government dimensions, both in national level and in fishery sector. In enterprises level consist of input, output, outcome and process.

Numerous government bodies continue to experience difficulties in accounting for historical assets. The purpose of this research is to ascertain the identification, quantification, presentation, and disclosure of historical assets, particularly the Situs Watu Gong in Malang, East Java. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the concept of identifying, measuring, presenting, and also exposing historical assets through the use of a qualitative technique and a case study at the Situs Watu Gong. The data collection approaches used were observation, interviewing, and documentation. As a result of this investigation, it was determined that the manager of the Situs Watu Gong did not properly account for previous assets. The manager of the Situs Watu Gong should have valued historical assets at cost and measured them using the cost technique. Historic assets are classed as fixed assets and are not included in PPE (Plant, Property, and Equipment) on the balance sheet.

Światowy system podatkowy opiera się na rozwiązaniach opracowanych ponad sto lat temu i ma liczne wady, a ze względu na postępującą ewolucję w zakresie sposobów prowadzenia biznesu oraz dostępnych technologii jego słabości pogłębiają się. Istnienie spetryfikowanych i kosztownych rozwiązań obciąża szczególnie podmioty MŚP, zmniejszając ich konkurencyjność. Wydaje się możliwe zastąpienie obecnych mechanizmów narzędziami formulary apportionment, które byłyby prostsze, tańsze i bardziej sprawiedliwe, co miałoby pozytywny wpływ w szczególności na mniejszych podatników.

Patient information recorded in electronic medical records is the most significant set of information of the healthcare system. It assists healthcare providers to introduce high quality care for patients. The aim of this study identifies the security threats associated with electronic medical records and gives recommendations to keep them more secured. The study applied the qualitative research method through a case study. The study conducted seven interviews with medical staff and information technology technicians. The study results classified the issues that face electronic medical records into four main categories which were availability, accessibility, privacy, and safety of health information.

All healthcare providers should have enough knowledge and sufficient information to understand the potential risk, which can lead to a breach in the Jordanian health information system (Hakeem program). This study aims to emphasise the importance of sharing sensitive health information among healthcare providers, create laws and regulations to keep the electronic medical records secure, and increase the awareness about health information security among healthcare providers. The study conducted seven interviews with medical staff and an information technology technician. The study results showed that sharing sensitive information in a secure environment, creating laws and regulations, and increasing the awareness about health information security render the electronic medical records of patients more secure and safe.

The endeavour of this study is to probe the impact of Public Private Partnership (PPP) on urban development in Zimbabwe's Local Authorities using the recent partnership between the Victoria Falls Municipality (VFM) and the Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe (CBZ) on housing development. This study therefore seeks to unravel the effects of Public Private Partnership, whether the land allocation process was line with the Local Government policy, was fairness observed and were the general population availed the opportunity to participate in this ongoing development. Notably the Public Private Partnership play a very crucial role in Zimbabwe in terms of financing large infrastructural development. The government of Zimbabwe cannot rely only on the tax base to fund the large infrastructural development projects that is where the Public Private Partnership comes into play so to ensure equitable service delivery. The study also noted that in Zimbabwe there is lack of legal framework which should be a guideline to these Public Private Partnerships. On this scenario this study suggests that the government of Zimbabwe should craft laws which will serve as a guideline for the effectiveness of Public Private Partnership so that power cannot be abused at any level and ensuring the full protection of its citizenry.

This study assesses telehealth's influence on healthcare disparities critically and shows how it can both close and expand gaps in healthcare equality, quality, and access. It explores the consequences of the rapidly growing telehealth services for different patient populations, with an emphasis on the elderly, people of color, and those with restricted access to digital resources. Notwithstanding the potential of telehealth to surmount geographical and logistical obstacles, the results underscore noteworthy hurdles in guaranteeing universal access equity. The digital gap and the need for vulnerable communities to have greater access to technology and digital literacy are major problems. The report recommends a comprehensive approach to ensure the fair benefits of telehealth, including targeted education initiatives, technology advancements, and regulatory reform. The ultimate goal is to turn telehealth into a comprehensive healthcare delivery system that guarantees everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status or location, access to high-quality care. Encouraging underprivileged populations to adopt telehealth is crucial to using telehealth as a tool for healthcare fairness.

There In recent times, the expansion of counterfeit products has become worldwide. There are many counterfeit goods in the latest supply chain. According to the record, counterfeit product affairs have increased in the last few years. This paper brings to light data security issues and concerns for organizations by moving their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to the cloud. Cloud computing has become the new trend of how organizations conduct business and has enabled them to innovate and compete in a dynamic environment through new and innovative business models. The growing popularity and success of the cloud has led to the emergence of cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ERP systems, a new alternative approach to traditional on-premise ERP systems. Cloud-based ERP has a myriad of benefits for organizations. However, infrastructure engineers need to address data security issues before moving their enterprise applications to the cloud. Cloud-based ERP raises specific concerns about the confidentiality and integrity of the data stored in the cloud. Such concerns that affect the adoption of cloud-based ERP are based on the size of the organization. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) gain the maximum benefits from cloud-based ERP as many of the concerns around data security are not relevant to them. On the contrary, larger organizations are more cautious in moving their mission critical enterprise applications to the cloud. A hybrid solution where organizations can choose to keep their sensitive applications on-premise while leveraging the benefits of the cloud is proposed in this paper as an effective solution that is gaining momentum and popularity for large organizations.

Price, characteristics and functionality are often poorer for We compared the labeling technique with a traditional social marketing campaign, providing thought-provoking arguments, regarding their long term effect on ecological behavior. In this study (n=241), we provided participants either with an ecological, selfdescriptive label, an information-based campaign promoting ecological behavior or no information at all, and compared behavior in a repeated social dilemma situation, framed as an ecological task. We found that labeling outperforms classical campaigns on the longer term. We did not observe the expected interaction with mental load.

Meskipun manfaat E-commerce bagi UKM sangat besar, saat ini hanya sedikit UKM yang telah mengadopsi Ecommerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana penerimaan teknologi ecommerce pada UMKM kain tenun songket Kota Palembang dengan menggunakan model TAM dan menambahkan variabel social influence. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara pada 25 UMKM kain tenun songket yang telah menerapkan e-commerce pada proses bisnisnya. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa menggunakan regresi linier berganda (multiple linier regression) dan diperoleh hasil perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan social influence berpengaruh terhadap intention to use ecommerce technology.

In recent years, the desire and requirement for green buildings have increased. The aim of this research is to determine and confirm the increased request for green properties and to investigate whether this is related to a new need or simply a desire of buyers. Moreover, the paper examines people's knowledge of greenness and sustainability and their wish to live and work in sustainable buildings. The methodology used for this research is based on quantitative research methods with the use of questionnaires to better understand the residents' awareness, needs, and desires related to sustainability. The research was based on the hypothesis that increased knowledge and awareness of sustainable design can affect the real estate market. Secondly, this research examined whether the increased desire and need for sustainable buildings may increase the market value of sustainable buildings and if people with higher incomes desire green buildings more. Finally, the last hypothesis examined regarded the differences between residential and commercial buildings in terms of sustainable design. The study explored whether buyers will pay extra to purchase a sustainable property and how sustainability can affect the market value and the construction industry. The participants who took part in the research study were living and working in Cyprus. One of the significant outcomes was the fact that people who have knowledge and awareness related to sustainability are willing to pay extra to purchase green properties. Another interesting outcome was that most people have knowledge of sustainable building design. This awareness is crucial as people's desire is the strongest driver, which can influence them to invest more in green real estate.

Open educational resources (OER) are seen as means to decrease the cost of higher education and close the educational divide between different society groups. At the same time, studies show that collaborative learning is very beneficial for the students. The effective organization of collaborative learning activities is, however, a complex task that requires both properly structured instructional materials and an appropriate collaboration management system. In this paper we discuss the design and development of a free-to-use software system that stimulates the employment 56 The BRC Academy Journal of Business Vol. 9, No. 1 of OER in the preparation of collaborative learning materials for mobile devices or lab computers. The system is web-based and enables instructors to coordinate the collaborative learning process more effectively. It also collects data for assessment of student attainments and employs mark up and tagging for tracking and rights management. The system focuses on interactions based on gap filling activities and is particularly suitable for learning in small groups, e.g., group learning about case studies in business classes. Observations and comments regarding the use of the system in an operations management course environment are summarized in the end of this work.

The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed how companies operated. Among the changes introduced to the workplace is the Work from Home (WFH) arrangement. Although many industries have long practiced WFH, it is not commonly considered in the Information Technology (IT) sector because of its high-level IT requirement. This paper explored the experiences of employees in the Business Process Outsourcing -IT sector in Makati through a phenomenological qualitative approach. The results revealed that the employees' experiences relate to the following: 1) initial impression about working from home, 2) readiness to work from home, 3) gains from working from home, 4) lessons from remote work set-up for communication, 5) adequacy of company support, 6) employees' mental well-being, and 7) conduciveness of home as the new workplace. These experiences are useful information in crafting interventions to consider WFH as an arrangement that can be considered postpandemic.
