The Web-Based Report Management System with Incident Mapping: VAWC Cases was developed to assist organizations in managing and addressing Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) cases effectively in Barangay Mandalagan. The Web-Based Report Management System with Incident Mapping: VAWC Cases simplifies the reporting process, secures case records, and provides real-time visual incident mapping to enhance response and decision-making. Key features include incident reporting, monitoring, and analysis with remarks; incident reporting using geo-mapping; descriptive and trend analysis; automated report generation; email notifications; and a maintenance logging system with detailed summaries. The agile Development Methodology was employed, encompassing the stages of planning, design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and deployment. Usability and reliability testing were conducted using the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) for end -users and ISO 25010:2011 for IT experts. This involved stakeholders such as the VAWC Staff, the Barangay Captain, and the IT experts. The system’s technical features achieved 100% pass rate, indicating successful validation. PSSUQ results demonstrated high usability, with an overall mean score of 1.97. The system was also evaluated using the ISO 25010:2011, with an overall mean score of 4.58, indicating very effective system functionality. The system contributes to a more efficient, accurate, and accessible approach to handling VAWC cases, promoting safety and advocacy for victims.

Traditional Learning Management Systems (LMS) primarily function as content repositories with limited support for real-time academic monitoring. This study presents NexEd, an Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS) integrated with descriptive analytics and AI-assisted assessment tools, designed for basic education. Using a developmental research approach guided by the Agile Development Model, the system was developed and evaluated by administrators, teachers, and students.
Results indicate high usability across key dimensions: System Usefulness (1.78), Information Quality (1.86), Interface Quality (1.84), and Overall Satisfaction (1.83), all interpreted as “Strongly Agree.” Inferential analysis using paired t-test revealed a significant improvement in user engagement and task efficiency (t = 7.21, p < 0.001). Engagement increased by approximately 19% after system implementation.
The findings demonstrate that integrating descriptive analytics within an ELMS enhances data-driven decision-making and supports early identification of at-risk students. The study recommends incorporating predictive analytics models and expanding implementation across institutions to improve scalability and impact.

Older adults represent a rapidly growing segment of mobile health (mHealth) application users, yet the interaction modalities dominant in commercial health applications fine-gesture touch, small-target navigation, and high-density information layouts are systematically misaligned with the perceptual, motor, and cognitive changes associated with ageing. This paper presents the Ageing-Adaptive mHealth Design Framework (AADF), a formal model that weights accessibility feature contributions using a Geriatric Usability Impact Score (GUIS) derived from age-stratified usability dimensions: visual acuity decline, motor precision loss, and working memory reduction. A controlled usability evaluation was conducted with 64 participants aged 60-85 across three prototype configurations: Baseline (BL, standard commercial interface), Partially Accessible (PA, WCAG 2.1 Level AA), and AADF-instrumented (AADF), across six standardised mHealth task types. AADF achieves a mean task completion rate (TCR) of 89.4% compared to 41.8% for BL across all tasks and age subgroups a 47.6 percentage-point improvement. Voice interaction reduced vital-sign entry time by 52% for participants aged 75-85. Progressive font scaling reduced reading-error rates by 44% for participants with selfreported low vision. Three structural design patterns Stepped Navigation, Persistent Context Anchors, and Modality-Fallback Sequences are formalised and evaluated, demonstrating collectively that navigation-complexity reduction accounts for 38% of the total AADF TCR improvement. The paper argues that age-specific mHealth accessibility requires a design philosophy extending beyond WCAG compliance into geriatric interaction engineering.

This paper examines how emerging technologies and information technology infrastructure components can improve the service delivery and operational efficiency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). It discusses the role of hardware platforms, operating systems, enterprise software, data management, networking, internet platforms, virtualization, cloud computing, and mobile technologies in supporting government digital transformation. Using a policy recommendation approach, the paper proposes a Phased Integrated IT Infrastructure Modernization Framework to address legacy system limitations, system integration challenges, and the growing demand for faster and more accessible public services. The specific result is a four-phase framework: Phase 1 focuses on infrastructure assessment and governance within 0–3 months to produce a clear roadmap and standardized policies; Phase 2 implements cloud computing, middleware integration, and virtualization within 3–9 months to improve efficiency and interoperability; Phase 3 strengthens personnel training, mobile access, BYOD policies, and cybersecurity within 6–12 months to increase user adoption and secure access; and Phase 4 provides continuous performance monitoring through dashboards, feedback, and infrastructure updates to ensure sustainability and adaptability. The paper concludes that IT modernization in government requires not only technology replacement but also governance, capacity building, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement. Future policy direction should focus on stronger data governance, secure cloud adoption, and regular infrastructure evaluation to support a more efficient, transparent, and competitive digital economy.

This study focused on the design and development of a web-based Sales and Inventory Management System entitled SIMMZB: Sales and Inventory Management System for Migz Bikeshop. The project addressed the inefficiencies of the existing manual system, which resulted in inaccurate inventory records, time-consuming processes, and data discrepancies. The proposed system aimed to improve operational efficiency by automating sales transactions, inventory monitoring, and report generation while enhancing customer service through an online appointment scheduling feature. The system included key modules such as user management, product and inventory management, sales processing with automatic payment computation, report generation, advertisement management, and notification features for low inventory levels and scheduled appointments. It was developed using an iterative software development model and was implemented through web technologies including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Security measures such as MD5 hashing were also applied to ensure data protection.
The system was evaluated using McCall’s Software Quality Model for IT experts and ISO/IEC 25010 standards for end-users. Results revealed that the system achieved a satisfactory level of performance in terms of functionality, usability, reliability, and efficiency. Findings indicated that the developed system significantly enhanced accuracy, reduced manual workload, and improved overall business operations. Therefore, the system was recommended for implementation in Migz Bikeshop and similar small-scale retail businesses to support efficient and reliable management processes.

Driver drowsiness has emerged as one of the leading causes of road accidents across the globe, resulting in severe injuries, fatalities, and significant economic losses. Fatigue negatively impacts a driver's reaction time, awareness, and decision-making ability, making it particularly dangerous during long-distance travel or late-night driving. In many situations, drivers are unaware of their declining alertness, which further increases the likelihood of accidents and reduces their ability to respond effectively to sudden road conditions. This issue highlights the urgent need for reliable systems that can detect early signs of fatigue and assist in preventing accidents before they occur. This research focuses on the development of a real-time driver drowsiness detection system that utilizes computer vision and machine learning techniques to continuously monitor the alertness level of a driver in a non-intrusive manner. The proposed system captures live video input through a webcam and processes each frame to analyze facial features such as eye closure, blinking patterns, and yawning frequency. These visual indicators are considered reliable signs of fatigue and are extracted using efficient image processing algorithms and facial landmark detection methods. By evaluating changes in these features over time, the system can accurately identify abnormal patterns associated with drowsiness. Once such signs are detected, the system provides immediate alerts to the driver through visual or audio notifications, helping to prevent potential accidents and improve driving safety. The solution is designed to be cost-effective, userfriendly, and easy to implement using standard hardware, making it suitable for real-world applications. Experimental observations indicate that the system performs reliably under various conditions, although certain limitations such as low lighting may affect accuracy. Overall, the proposed approach demonstrates strong potential in enhancing road safety and reducing fatigue-related accidents.

The customer can place orders conveniently through the Marion’s Seafood’s Ordering System and the disadvantage of the conventional queuing mechanism is eliminated, with this approach, visitors can order food to go. As a result, this approach improves the efficiency and uniformity of taking customers’ orders and it offers a better platform for communication and the details about the user are recorded, the menu for Marion’s Seafood’s  has been set up and customer can quickly place order with just one click. Additionally, you can quickly keep track of orders, update the client database, and enhance the goods of orders using the seafood menu and the user of this system can choose the desired seafood items from the menu that is displayed. In the past decade, the ontology development community has witnessed several platforms and tools for ontology building. All these tools facilitate ontology development processes and direction for the subsequent usage. However, research has shown that current ontology editors do not effectively capture agricultural processes. Existing ontology editors do offer explicit but incomplete agricultural process information. This research proposes the need for a new ontology editor for process capturing, specifically capable of capturing entire cassava plantation process, which can be used to develop Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) for farmers on crop processing. To this end, this paper examines, analyzes and presents the results of selected ontology editors. The comparison was done using different criteria including an ontology editor's strength, weakness and suitability for capturing entire crop plantation process.

This study focuses on the design and development of a Document Request and Tracking System for Madridejos Community College aimed at addressing inefficiencies in manual document processing. The existing system often results in delays, human errors, lack of centralized records, and difficulty in tracking the status of requests, which negatively affects both students and administrators. To solve these issues, an automated system was developed using Agile Methodology, ensuring iterative development and continuous improvement based on user feedback. The system includes features such as real-time request tracking, centralized data management, dashboard monitoring for administrators, CRUD operations for managing records, and automated receipt generation to improve transaction documentation. The developed system allows users to conveniently submit, monitor, and receive updates on their document requests, while enabling administrators to efficiently process, organize, and manage transactions in a more systematic manner. This contributes to improved workflow, reduced processing time, and enhanced accuracy of records. The system was evaluated using the ISO/IEC 25010:2011 Software Quality Model and usability criteria including usefulness, satisfaction, ease of use, and ease of learning. Results showed that the system achieved a mean score of 4.00 (Good) in software quality and 4.16 in usability, indicating that it is effective, reliable, and user-friendly. Overall, the system successfully improved efficiency, accessibility, and transparency in document request processing, effectively addressing the limitations of the previous manual system and supporting better service delivery in the institution.

The barangays are the first level of government that directly serve the community. They handle various services such as issuing certificates, receiving complaints, providing assistance, and responding to local concerns. However, many barangays still rely on manual, paper-based systems to manage service requests. Because of this, requests may be delayed, records can be misplaced, and it becomes difficult for both residents and officials to track the status of concerns. This study aims to develop a Digital Barangay Service Request Management System to improve how service requests are handled. The proposed system allows residents to submit requests online and monitor their status without always going to the barangay office. On the other hand, barangay officials can use a dashboard to organize, monitor, and respond to requests more efficiently. The study focuses on improving efficiency, transparency, and organization in barangay operations. It is expected that the implementation of this digital system will reduce delays, improve communication between residents and officials, and provide better monitoring of community concerns.

This study developed and evaluated a web-based Beauty Salon Appointment and Sales Management System to address the operational inefficiencies at Synells Beauty Salon in Bantayan, Cebu. The salon's reliance on manual or semi-digital processes for appointment scheduling, inventory tracking, sales monitoring, and report generation led to scheduling conflicts, data management errors, and delayed reporting. The primary objective was to design and implement a digital solution to automate these tasks and provide real-time operational visibility. Employing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, the system was built through iterative prototyping, ensuring continuous stakeholder feedback and alignment with user requirements. The resulting application features a real-time dashboard that displays scheduled appointments, daily, weekly, and monthly sales, service lists, and customer data. Administrative functionalities include comprehensive appointment management (creation, viewing, deletion, cancellation), sales updates, service record management, invoice generation, and the printing of e-receipts and sales reports. The system's quality was rigorously evaluated by IT experts using the ISO/IEC 25010 software quality model, assessing characteristics such as functional suitability, reliability, and security. Concurrently, end-user usability was measured with the USE Questionnaire, evaluating usefulness, satisfaction, ease of use, and ease of learning. Quantitative results indicated very high levels of acceptance, with an overall effectiveness mean of 4.25. The ISO/IEC 25010 evaluation yielded a grand mean of 4.19, with functional suitability scoring highest at 4.33. Usability assessment resulted in a grand mean of 4.18, where ease of use achieved a notable 4.33. The findings confirm that the system provides an efficient, user-friendly, and secure solution for managing salon operations, significantly reducing manual errors and improving the potential for customer service. The study contributes to the literature on digitizing small service enterprises and recommends future enhancements such as integrating online payment gateways, developing offline functionality, and implementing multi-user role support for beauticians and customers.

This article examines the need for a context-specific enterprise incubation framework to support youthled businesses in Nkangala District, South Africa. The study responds to persistent youth unemployment, weak enterprise survival rates, and limited local economic diversification. Using a structured qualitative desktop methodology, the study systematically reviews recent academic literature, policy documents, and development reports published between 2020 and 2025. The analysis identifies institutional fragmentation, limited access to finance, weak market linkages, and inadequate digital infrastructure as key constraints facing youth entrepreneurs in the district. Based on these findings, the article proposes a tailored incubation framework institutionalised within local government structures and supported through multi-stakeholder partnerships, targeted support mechanisms, and robust governance arrangements. The study contributes to local economic development scholarship by advancing a district-level incubation model grounded in place-based realities. The findings have practical implications for municipalities, development agencies, and policymakers seeking to design sustainable and inclusive youth entrepreneurship interventions in structurally constrained regions.

Youth unemployment remains a persistent socio-economic challenge in South Africa and is particularly
acute within semi-urban and rural District Municipalities. This article examines the effects of youth
unemployment in the Nkangala District Municipality in Mpumalanga Province. The study adopts a
qualitative research approach based on secondary data drawn from government labour statistics,
municipal integrated development plans and recent academic literature. As the study relies exclusively
on documentary sources, no human participants were involved and ethical clearance was not required.
The findings indicate that elevated youth unemployment in the district contributes to deepening poverty,
constrained local economic growth, increased social dependency and weakened community cohesion.
Structural factors, including limited industrial diversification, skills mismatches and unequal access to
economic opportunities, are identified as key drivers of youth exclusion. The analysis further shows that
unemployed youth face heightened exposure to social risks such as substance abuse, criminal activities
and long-term disengagement from the labour market. The article argues that effective responses
require coordinated municipal planning, strengthened skills development pathways and closer
collaboration with the private sector and technical training institutions. The study contributes a district
level perspective that demonstrates how national unemployment trends translate into localised
development challenges.

Fire safety in remote and geographically isolated regions, such as Bantayan Island, is chronically hindered by fragmented infrastructure, delayed emergency response cycles, and a systemic lack of accessible fire safety education. These vulnerabilities often transform manageable incidents into large-scale disasters. This study introduces the Bantayan Online Fire Report System, a comprehensive web and mobile-based ecosystem engineered to bridge the critical communication gap between residents and emergency personnel. The development process was strictly guided by the ISO/IEC 25010:2011 Systems and Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE) model, ensuring the platform met rigorous standards for functional suitability, reliability, and the security. The system architecture integrates a centralized administrative dashboard for real-time resource mapping, automated push notifications for rapid dissemination of safety protocols, and a lightweight mobile interface optimized for low-bandwidth environments common in rural areas. By digitizing the reporting pipeline, the platform replaces traditional, high-latency communication methods with instantaneous data transmission and GPS-enabled location tracking. Initial pilot testing and empirical evaluations demonstrated a significant reduction in incident-to-response latency and a measurable increase in community disaster awareness. The system was appraised through usability testing, where it achieved high scores in learnability and user satisfaction among both local authorities and residents. These findings underscore the transformative potential of localized digital interventions in overcoming logistical barriers in underserved communities. Ultimately, the Bantayan Online Fire Report System serves as a scalable prototype for enhancing disaster resilience, proving that integrating technology with civic participation can effectively mitigate fire-related risks and safeguard human life in the remote Maritime Provinces.

An exam result management system benefits both schools and students by restructuring data storage, analysis, and reporting, reducing workload for teachers and administrators. The researchers developed the Eastern Samar State University Student Application and Exam Results Tracking System to automate student admissions, entrance exam processing, and result management, ensuring efficiency and security. Objectives: The objective of this study is to develop the Eastern Samar State University Student Application and Exam Results Tracking System to automate the storage of student admission data and entrance examination processes. Specifically, it aimed to create an administrator form page to track applicants, manage entrance exam permits, input exam scores, and generate printable forms for applications, permits, and results. Additionally, a student form page was developed to allow applicants to fill out application forms and access exam results. Finally, the system was evaluated using the IBM evaluation tool for end-user testing and ISO 9126 for expert testing. Methods: This study follows the waterfall model, a structured software development approach where each phase must be completed before moving to the next. The researchers began with requirement analysis by conducting interviews with the head of the admission office to gather necessary data. The system was then designed, focusing on the graphical user interface (GUI) and system architecture, followed by development and testing with end-users to ensure functionality. Finally, the system was evaluated using the IBM usability scale for end-users and ISO 9126 for expert testing before deployment. Results: The researchers successfully developed a tracking system for the Eastern Samar State University Borongan Campus Office of Admission Services, meeting all objectives. The system includes an administrator form page for tracking applicants, processing entrance exam permits, inputting raw scores, and generating printable forms, as well as a student form page for application submission and result viewing. Evaluation using the IBM usability survey resulted in a high satisfaction rating of 4.62, while Alpha testing with ISO 9126 yielded a 4.40 overall rating, confirming the system's functionality, reliability, and usability. Conclusions: The developed system effectively updated student admissions and exam result management, meeting all objectives. High ratings from IBM usability testing indicate that the system is user-friendly and efficient, while compliance with ISO 9126 standards ensures software reliability and maintainability. These results confirm that the system is suitable for deployment and can enhance the university's admission process.

In 2013-2014, the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) provided funding for a multidisciplinary team of researchers from the University of Melbourne to collaborate with young Aboriginal participants (aged between 15 and 26) and their mentors from the Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI) at Richmond Football Club, Victoria. This collaboration led to the development and design of a prototype digital storytelling mobile application̠ ͈͗ ̥ύ͔͔̦̠ to be used by Aboriginal young people: the What͛s ya Story app (the WYS app). The project worked with Aboriginal young people aged between 15 and 26 years of age from the Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI). This is described in more detail later in this report. The majority of the Aboriginal population in Victoria is aged 25 and under; they are among the highest users of mobile phones, actively engaging in social media and other online platforms (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) 2010). With the advent of Web 2.0 technologies, Aboriginal youth throughout Australia are increasingly using digital technologies, especially mobile devices and the internet, to produce and tell their stories in ways determined by them (Kral 2010, Edmonds, Rachinger et al. 2012). Currently, the What͛s ya Story app prototype (the WYS app) developed through this project provides a base for ongoing research concerning the uptake and management of digital technology by Aboriginal young people. The app project forms part of the larger Australian Research Council Linkage Project (ARC LP), ̥͗ϩύͥϩ Β͈͗ ̩͈ͥ͗Β̢ Aboriginal young people in Victoria and Digital Storyͥϩ̨̛̺̺̦́ (2013-2016). In this report we present the findings of the 2-day collaborative workshop that resulted in the development of the WYS app prototype. In addition, we describe the aims of the project; the methods adopted to achieve the research outcomes, including the workshop process; our research findings; as well as our recommendations for future approaches to the development of the WYS app. The research comprised two teams of researchers from the University of Melbourne who worked together to create the first phase of the WYS app prototype: a humanities and social sciences team from the Faculties of Arts and Medicine, and an information technology team from the Institute for a Broadband Enabled Society (IBES). The researchers were encouraged in their endeavours by the enthusiastic support of the young participants from KGI in the project. In this research paper, we adopt an integrative view of user involvement in software development; where, a user's psychological state, at various phases of development, is linked to the contribution of user involvement in the success of software development. We explore the link between creativity and emotional design in order to evolve a conceptual framework for studying creativity in the fast growing area of mobile applications (apps) development. Action research, which is regarded as participatory, emancipatory and contextual, was adopted in this study. The study used a case study design and a survey of 1,502 students registered for a first year course in Management Information Systems at a large urban University in South Africa. Results from this study found that for app development to be more creative and innovative, emotional design should be part of the broader process of improving requirements engineering in Information Systems Development (ISD). We also found that in situations where emotional feedback is genuine, requirements engineering problems related to the "misinformation effect" common in ISD can be minimized. The third claim we affirm stronger is how users in ISD play a closer role as co-developers of mobile apps in order to realize true creativity and innovativeness. This study further demonstrated how subjective feelings in ISD can be evaluated using visual artifacts such as the Emocard.

ABSTRAK Mahasiswa sering dihadapkan pada banyak tugas kuliah yang datang bersamaan, masing-masing dengan tingkat urgensi dan kepentingan yang berbeda. Dalam praktiknya, penentuan prioritas tugas masih banyak dilakukan secara manual sehingga kerap bersifat subjektif dan kurang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam menentukan prioritas pengerjaan tugas kuliah secara lebih terstruktur. Sistem dirancang menggunakan metode Weighted Scoring atau Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dengan mempertimbangkan tiga kriteria utama, yaitu urgensi tugas, tingkat kepentingan, dan perkiraan waktu pengerjaan. Aplikasi dikembangkan berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan Firebase sebagai layanan backend untuk mendukung autentikasi pengguna dan penyimpanan data secara real-time. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik, pengelolaan data tugas hingga pengurutan prioritas secara otomatis. Dengan sistem ini, mahasiswa sangat di harapkan dapat mengelola tugas kuliah secara lebih efektif, menghemat waktu, dan meningkatkan produktivitas akademik. FAIMS Mobile is a native Android application supported by an Ubuntu server facilitating human-mediated field research across disciplines. It consists of 'core' Java and Ruby software providing a platform for data capture, which can be deeply customised using 'definition packets' consisting of XML documents (data schema and UI) and Beanshell scripts (automation). Definition packets can also be generated using an XML-based domain-specific language, making customisation easier. FAIMS Mobile includes features allowing rich and efficient data capture tailored to the needs of fieldwork. It also promotes synthetic research and improves transparency and reproducibility through the production of comprehensive datasets that can be mapped to vocabularies or ontologies as they are created.

Social Networking Technologies (SNTs) have changed lots of former procedures in this modern era. One of its greatest influences is in the area of teaching and learning. This research work seeks to identify in the Ghanaian context with unavailability of some ICT infrastructure and other determinants, how this advantageous tool could be adopted and implemented to benefit the area of teaching and learning in the private Universities. To determine the adoption factors three (3) different theoretical frameworks were considered, namely; Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) Extension Model and Technology Acceptance Model. The research method adopted was quantitative and hence paper form questionnaire was used for the data collection. Several recommendations were made to enhance the adoption of SNTs for the purposes of supplementing teaching in the tertiary education in Ghana.

This study examines how in-app advertising formats and frequencies affect user satisfaction and engagement. Survey data from 168 mobile app users who reported their exposure to pop-up, banner, and rewarded ads, along with satisfaction and engagement ratings (1-5 scale) was analysed. Descriptive statistics show pop-up ads are least satisfying (M≈2.05) whereas rewarded ads rate highest (M≈3.54). ANOVA tests indicate ad frequency significantly influences satisfaction for all formats (pop-up F=127.42; banner F=70.40; rewarded F=75.13; all p<.001). In regression models predicting "ad engagement/relevance", higher pop-up and rewarded ad frequencies predict lower engagement (β≈-0.26 and-0.21, p<.01), and being a news-app user strongly reduces engagement (β≈-2.25, p<.001). Segment analyses reveal that gamers report significantly higher satisfaction with banner and rewarded ads than non-gamers (e.g. rewarded: 4.73 vs 2.85, p<.001), while shoppers are significantly more annoyed by pop-up ads (1.46 vs 2.20, p<.001) but more satisfied with rewarded ads (4.29 vs 3.35, p<.001). These findings align with prior work on ad intrusiveness and perceived value exchange: interruptive formats drive avoidance, whereas rewarded ads (which offer a clear user benefit) yield higher tolerance (Reich, 2024). We discuss implications for app designers and marketers, recommending a balanced ad strategy that minimizes intrusive formats and leverages value-based ads to preserve user experience.

The cyber era of  the 21st century, defined by the dominance of computerized technologies, has also brought along new forms of social phenomena and even religiosity within the dimension of postmodernism and artificial intelligence. Social scientists, theologians, and information technology experts are puzzled by the new challenges of the new age featured by the prevalence of expanding AI-driven technologies, smart machinery, and various IT solutions, which tend to penetrate both the military domain and the realm of spirituality shaping the world of trans-humanism. The question is whether a new form of science and technology-based pseudo-religion is about to descend from the virtual heaven in the form of AI-driven redemption and savior or radical transformer of human civilization? Will the new manifestations of postmodern technological divinity be able to alter the classic, transcendental religions and even substitute the services of human clergy?

It can hide the latency of data transfers over poor and intermittently connected wireless networks, but the costs of prefetching in terms of increased energy and cellular data usage are potentially substantial, particularly for data prefetched incorrectly. Weighing the costs and benefits of prefetching is complex, and consequently most mobile applications employ simple but sub-optimal strategies. Rather than leave the job to applications, we argue that the underlying mobile system should provide explicit prefetching support. Our prototype, IMP, presents a simple interface that hides the complexity of the prefetching decision. IMP uses a cost-benefit analysis to decide when to prefetch data. It employs goal-directed adaptation to try to minimize application response time while meeting budgets for battery lifetime and cellular data usage. IMP opportunistically uses available networks while ensuring that prefetches do not degrade network performance for foreground activity. It tracks hit rates for past prefetches and accounts for networkspecific costs in order to dynamically adapt its prefetching strategy to both the network conditions and the accuracy of application prefetch disclosures. Experiments with email and news reader applications show that IMP provides predictable usage of budgeted resources, while lowering application response time compared to the oblivious strategies used by current applications.

Image enhancement methods were usually utilized to upgrade the visual nature of an image for human discernment or to improve explicit highlights for additional examination. These strategies are normally applied in image processing for the reduction of unwanted distribution or noise content decrease. In this work, various modified Histogram Equalization methods were employed to enhance the low-light images. The parameters namely, Peak Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Multi-Scale Structural Similarity Index (MSIM), Structural Similarity Index (SSIM), and Entropy were evaluated on different sizes of images. The experiment was successfully executed with valid results by comparing an enhanced image with an original grey image that helped to generate more definite image information or features.

Persiapan persalinan pada ibu hamil dapat diberikan melalui promosi kesehatan. Salah satu media untuk promosi kesehatan yaitu media audio visual, media perantara melalui pandangan dan pendengaran. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menghasilkan produk, mendeskripsikan, merancang serta menguji kelayakan dari media audio visual sebagai media promosi kesehatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Research and development (R&D), yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 65 orang ibu hamil untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Analisa data menggunakan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu media audio visual berbentuk video yang berisi materi tentang persiapan persalinan. Uji validitas yang telah dilakukan ahli media mendapatkan skor 4,56 kategori sangat baik, ahli materi mendapatkan skor 4,68 kategori sangat baik, responden kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar mendapatkan skor 4,4 dan 4,58 kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media audio visual mendapat kategori sangat baik. Penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut bagaimana efektivitas dari media audio visual.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a simultaneous relationship between digital marketing, brand image, and product understanding on the decision to become a customer. In this study, the population consists of all Sharia bank customers. With a total of 100 respondents, this study used a non-probability sampling strategy. This study employs a quantitative methodology and a causal research design, gathering information with a questionnaire. The decision to become a customer was found to be significantly influenced in a good way by digital marketing, according to the research findings. This indicates that the decision to become a customer can be influenced by digital marketing. The more effectively digital marketing is implemented, the more it will persuade consumers to become clients. The decision to become a customer is positively and significantly influenced by brand image. This implies that the decision to become a customer may be influenced by brand image. Making the choice to become a customer will be simpler the more positively the brand is portrayed. The decision to become a customer is positively and significantly impacted by product knowledge. This implies that product expertise can affect a potential customer's choice to buy. Increased public awareness of banking products will have a greater impact on the public's decision to open an account. The decision to become a customer is concurrently and strongly influenced by digital marketing, brand image, and product understanding.

This review explores the current state-of-the-art wireless and mobile optical chemical sensors and biosensors. The review is organised into three sections, each of which investigates a major class of wireless and/or mobile optical chemical sensor: (i) optical sensors integrated with a radio transmitter/transceiver, (ii) wearable optical sensors, and (iii) smartphone camera-based sensors. In each section, the specific challenges and tradeoffs surrounding the (bio)chemical sensing mechanism and material architecture, miniaturisation, integration, power requirements, readout, and sensitivity are explored with detailed examples of sensor systems from the literature. The analysis of 77 original research articles published between 2007 and 2017 reveals that healthcare and medicine, environmental monitoring, food quality, and sport and fitness are the target markets for wireless and mobile optical chemical sensor systems. In particular, the current trend for personal fitness tracking is driving research into novel colourimetric wearable sensors with smartphone readout. We conclude that despite the challenges, mobile and wearable optical chemical sensor systems are set to play a major role in the sensor Internet of Things.

Wireless chemical sensors are increasingly finding use as analytical devices in healthcare diagnostics, wearable sensing (sweat analysis) and in the rapidly emerging area of the Sensor Internet of Things (SIoT). In such wireless scenarios, the application of fluorescencebased sensors is lagging behind other types of transduction mechanisms. In this work a new low-cost and highly portable wireless fluorimeter for optical chemical fluorescence intensity measurements is presented (bill-of-materials approximately €20). The fluorimeter is programmed and communicates wirelessly with mobile devices or personal computers by radio-frequency identification (RFID) or near-field communication (NFC). This novel mobile analytical system is highly adaptable for use with different fluorescent sensor chemistries and analytes. The fluorimeter has been evaluated in the laboratory in two sets of proof-ofconcept experiments: firstly fluorimetry in solution, where the fluorescence intensities of fluorescein were recorded, and secondly chloride sensing via a paper-immobilised quinine sulphate fluorescent indicator. The latter represents the first demonstration of wireless (radio-frequency) fluorescence-based chloride sensing. Satisfactory analytical performance was achieved in the entire range of sweat chloride concentrations. Bu çalışma, dijital aboneliklerin hızla artmasıyla ortaya çıkan "abonelik yorgunluğu" ve finansal takip zorluklarına çözüm olarak geliştirilen "Subline" mobil uygulamasını konu almaktadır. Geliştirilen sistem, "Periyodik Döngü Algoritması" ile gelecek ödemeleri tahmin etmekte ve kullanıcı davranışlarını analiz ederek tasarruf önerileri sunmaktadır.
